Patriots signed WR Laquon Treadwell to the practice squad.​

Treadwell, 27, was a certified bust as the No. 23 overall pick of the Vikings in 2016, but he posted his best pro season to date last year in Jacksonville, going 33-434-1 on 51 targets. He was among the Jaguars' 53-man roster cuts last week and will now try to earn a role in the New England wideout rotation over the next couple weeks while on the practice squad.

Patriots HC Bill Belichick told reporters that RB Ty Montgomery (ankle) has a shot to play in Week 1 against the Dolphins.​

Belichick's optimism also extended to OT Isaiah Wynn (unknown), with the coach saying that all players except Tyquan Thornton (collarbone, IR) are a possibility for Week 1. It was also reported that Montgomery and Wynn will travel with the team to Miami. Montgomery's potential absence has put some wind in the sails of Rhamondre Stevenson's fantasy appeal. However, if Montgomery is able to play, Stevenson's pass-catching role should remain somewhat limited. While Montgomery himself would be an extremely shaky Week 1 play, Stevenson's fantasy managers should pay close attention to Montgomery's status.

Regarding Treadwell?

Doesn't play week one. Plays a bit week two with a few catches.

By week 5 he's the Pats top receiver.

Wynn or go home??

Isiah Wynn was not on the field with the starters according to Tom Curran. He was working out with the wannabes.
His $10.5M is guaranteed so Bill has to carry him or get rid of him. Couldn't swing a trade so he's a going to be a pariah.
Owenue was switched from RG to RT and switched time with Cajuste yesterday and Herron and Ferentz were swapping at RG.

More than likely, that won't happen today and the starters, whomever they may be, will be playing in their spots today and tomorrow.

Wonder if Wynn will decide to swallow his pride and apologize to BB and start playing? He won't be worth squat as a free agent nnext year if he doesn't get playing time.

S Kyle Dugger: Dugger was not on the field for the Steelers’ final drive of the first half, having left for the locker room with a sleeve on his right knee. He was eventually announced as questionable to return to the contest in the early third period, but was not spotted again for the rest of the contest. The Patriots never officially ruled him out, though.
