Tempted to say Hield and Turner....but damn....Irving can ball at a high level. And with James and AD (if all 3 are healthy) that team could be scary.

Even if they only have AD on the roster, with Lebron's cap hold they can't sign Kyrie unless he's willing to take considerably less than he's making this year. The trade is the much easier path.Well, not if they are preserving cap in the event that you have to wait until the off-season to land Kyrie.
I don't think that will happen.
The Nets can't bring Kyrie back.
True. They almost can't go wrong either way. I say almost because Kyrie comes with a fair amount of risk.
But either one fixes issues and with a little luck with health, would put the Lakers in the title convo.
Depends on how confident they are in landing Kyrie next year.
If I'm ignoring the fact that they just picked up 2 Centers?
Indy.
I really like Turner.
I think he'd be a great match with Davis.
He's like a combination of Bryant's floor stretching potential and Jones' length and defensive upside.
We know what Buddy brings to the table.
Obviously, Kyrie is the better player.
He can shoot, distribute and spell LeBron without the offense going in to the toilet.
But, the drama....
Also, I wouldn't want to depend on Nunn as the backup pg.
The Lakers will likely bend to LeBron again.
Plus, their fan base is all about the star power.
He was only signed to their Summer League team.Missed this yesterday. GS fleeced McClung from us.
I think the Pistons are also interested in him. They would need.a S&T to get Kyrie next year with Hield on the roster.
Bryant is a solid shot blocker as well.
I don't see why the Pacers would consider such a trade anyway. Aren't they considering an offer sheet for Ayton? Turner would be part of a sign/trade if matched.
Sure but that means he no longer has ties to the Lakers. He was only signed to their Summer League team.
I'm sure he'd come if they offered a min contract (maybe even a 2-way, if one opens up).Sure but that means he no longer has ties to the Lakers.
We have 15 players....not counting our 2 way guys.I'm sure he'd come if they offered a min contract (maybe even a 2-way, if one opens up).

Haha.
Can’t go wrong you say?
Did you watch any games the last 2 years?
Either move could work. But they could definitely go wrong too. And possibly in spectacular fashion.
In fairness....he said almost.Haha.

Daaaaamn.Compared to running it back with Russ, hield could get hit by a bus 12 hours after the trade and it would still be a successful deal
Yeah....love the player he used to be but he pretty much toast. No more than 8mpg or so.Taj Gibson is good for -.5 wins added
