Bro they literally already shot down number 2

Number 1 is even less likely. You ain't getting Rozier AND Gordon.
I don’t know man. Russell Westbrook is a great player on a great contract.

"Pacers Rejected Lakers' Russell Westbrook Trade Offer
, per Report. The Lakers were reportedly in discussion with the Pacers to create a deal to send Russell Westbrook, Talen Horton-Tucker and a 2026 first-round pick to Indiana in a potential exchange for Malcolm Brogdon, according to ESPN's Jonathan Givony."

They shot down that. And that trade made no sense since RW and THT make like 57 mill and Brog makes 22 mill.

Kyrie was never gonna leave 30M on the table. His bluff got called by the Nets.

Again. Now that we found out Kyrie is just like everyone else and values money the Lakers best move is to blow it up imo.
Naw.....if we strike out on the Pacers and Hornets and the Knicks strike out on Brunson and Brog.....we might be able to con the Knicks into taking RW. We still have options.

You guys are stuck with him until the deadline at least. Unless the Lakers move AD or Lebron too.

If you all had first rounders in the next half decade I could see someone biting. For a rebuilding team a first rounder 7 years from now sucks.

The day after Irving teasing myself and all Lakers fans.

RW and both 1st rounders for

1-Rozier and GH with a future 2nd rounder.

2-Brogdon and Hield and a future 2nd rounder.

Preference is option 1.
Keep dreaming

Nothing has been said in the past few days because of all the Kyrie stuff, but prior to the Kyrie stuff, it was reported that there was real interest from the Hornets in doing that trade for cap space. Could have been click bait, but it was real report.

MJ gets 2 future 1st rounders and an expiring contract to create space needed to sign Melo and Bridges.

They don't need to move both players though. Just Hayward. Melo isn't due for a bit.

How can the Lakers take on that extra 7 million in salary when they’re already capped out and in the luxury level?

It's just 4 million actually. There was a player to be added....forgot the player.
Do the Lakers have a trade exception I don’t know about?

I could conceivably see Hayward moved for RW but it would take a 3rd team. Just because of the Hornets wanting to keep Bridges. But Rozier is a decent contract that could be moved down the road. He has a few years left.

Doesn't mean that they wouldn't move him but he's got way more value than just RW and some future picks.

Hayward is set to make $30 million so they would likely need to add another contract. With Scary Terry they would be sending out $51 million and taking back $47 million that they would either buyout or let expire.

I can see why they would do a Hayward deal, because of injuries, he is a bad contract now. Other than, it removes their 2 biggest contracts, not sure why Scary Terry would be the other player since hes an actual good player.

Well if they don't find some way to improve the roster this year, regardless that's it next year. Lebron won't opt in. He wants to win one or two titles before he goes out I believe.
