Some good tape on London . I feel better about him
mlb isnt high on my needs list . we only played 3 lbs on 61 of over 1000 snaps last year
I think it's also short-sighted to continue to bolster the strongest area of the team while other positions literally have no starters.Look the kid played the hole season with a bad ankle when he didn’t have to . I think his work ethic is fine . That being said it’s short sighted to draft a guy at 11 because someone won’t be available week one
My thing is if you run a 5-2 defense. You need good depth at DT , so if I am going to pick a d/lineman at 11 I go with a Davis and keep that strong DT rotation
Not sure Davis would start on another team. Holcomb might start on a handful of teams.Maybe they had to because our linebacker situation sucks
i think the game is changingI think that was b/c we didnt have the proper personnel at LB so we were forced to play 2lbs
i dont advocate picking a d/lineman at 11 . what i am saying is if you are playing the 5-2 do to changes in how the game is played you need DT's . losing settle and ionman hurt .I think it's also short-sighted to continue to bolster the strongest area of the team while other positions literally have no starters.
I strongly believe this has helped contribute to the poor play of the team to be honest. You can't draft the same position with your 1st round pick 5 out of 6 years. It literally makes no sense. We only score 19 points a game for the better part of 5 years, but sure, let's take another DLineman?
We are also about to drop a considerable amount of money to keep this DLine together. So we are going to invest a good slice of cap PLUS another 1st rounder in this unit? This is why we fail as an organization...no common sense.
I am NOT saying to overreach or overdraft offensive players....I am simply saying we are starving at some positions (several) yet we somehow would consider taking DLine for rotation purposes? I get the whole BPA mentality and have argued this since the ESPN board days. However, there is a phased approach to building a team and we are NOWHERE close to simply grabbing the BPA with our 1st round pick. We just aren't.
If we take a DLineman with the 1st round pick, I will throw my remote through the TV. It would be irrational and stupid to do so. That being said, it is probably precisely what we will end up doing.
I think we need to go back to a 4-3. What we ran last year did not cut it and we shredded. It was awful.i dont advocate picking a d/lineman at 11 . what i am saying is if you are playing the 5-2 do to changes in how the game is played you need DT's . losing settle and ionman hurt .
since we are stuck with wince , we should give him weapons so they can carry him because wince is a bus driver with a history of crashing
Yes, this would work.
