That is why I wanted Turner gone. What has he proved? He was hired due to nepotism and Rivera decided to extend him? Rivera could have looked to upgrade but he stuck with mediocrity.

The bad drafting has also helped with the lack of productivity. Rivera cannot draft and he has proven it over the past 2 years.

Wentz will help some, but not as much as people are thinking. Our RB and WR corps. are in the bottom quarter of the league as well. We have GIbson and then McLauring and then numerous question marks. It is sad that Rivera and some on this board thump their chests about "the talent" we have on this roster. You are simply kidding yourself if you truly feel that is the case. We have major question marks at the QB, OLine, TE, RB, and WR spots. The notion of "we are set for starters" truly is a testament to how pathetic we are. We should be relegated to Division 1 NCAA football. Anyone who actually feels comfortable with the offense right now simply doesn't watch the games or is unfamiliar with football. I think some people on the board do NOT watch the games and simply look at the box scores to draw their conclusions.

Wentz isn't going to come in and save the offense. Just because he is better than TH, Haskins, Smith and Allen doesn't mean he is a franchise or even a good QB. He is average and has proven that time and time again. When Wentz stumbles, which he will, some on here will blame injuries or make up another excuse.

...Because TM is more the threat as WR2 and the QB that they have now is just as likely to put that deep throw in the hands of the opposition, provided he doesn't fumble it before making that throw!
