Man, I went back and forth. And back and forth again. I couldn't help but think that the Raiders really have nothing but stop-gap measures behind Jacobs, and for whatever reason, they seem to have soured on him.

My best guess as a Raider fan..he is a 'developmental'
Not picking up Jacobs option, means next year it'll likely be someone else, and White is a low cost option to try out.
Regardless I fully expect McDaniels to build a bigger stable next year..White another rook, maybe a lower rent FA..
But, he may very well impress and get first crack at it

I get that, and if I'm not mistaken, Justin Jackson is a free agent this year. I thought he did a nice job when Ekeler was out, It'll be interesting to see where he ends up.
