22yr old TE getting over 5 targets per game last year (6.7 targets/game in the last 7)....I'd put my money on that guy to emerge as the legit 2nd receiving option behind their top WR over Byron Pringle, if I were to bet on it

However, 5 of those 7 games were QB'ed by guys who aren't on the team any longer, not the guy who will be playing this year (or his backups).
I don't have the skin in the game enough to do the homework and math, but I would gather that if his yearly average of 5+ targets is being buoyed by a seven game stretch that was largely built on play from someone other than the normal QB..that his average with his normal QB would be significantly lower than the 5+, thus adding credence to Joe's theory

It is an interesting strategy by the Bears, I'll give 'em that.
If the idea behind getting Venus Flytrap or whatever his name is, is because he is fast enough to get 30 yards downfield within the 2 seconds the O-line surrenders to the defense, at least on paper, it could work out.

He'll become the first guy ever, in the history of the NFL, to break out as a 28yr old undrafted WR. Let's keep a level head here when analyzing 4th round picks in a 16tm dynasty league

Oh I'm not endorsing Pringle...only endorsing that Fields didn't seem to overly utilize the TE in basic principle...so in that aspect, I don't foresee growth in Kmet

Sorry Joe, but this is what I am hoping for as a Lions Fan. As a fantasy football fan I have to build the best team I can and Venus Flytrap the 17th was the best WR available.

Would love to see plenty of RPO, rollout, with trialing slots/TE's at multiple levels. Limits decision making, that underneath guy is ALWAYS open.. just to get the kid some confidence
