You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.
But TE is not a focal point on the Bears. The 2 starting WR will be fed with targets fairly steadily. Just remains to be seen who will be the other WR opposite Mooney.

However, 5 of those 7 games were QB'ed by guys who aren't on the team any longer, not the guy who will be playing this year (or his backups).22yr old TE getting over 5 targets per game last year (6.7 targets/game in the last 7)....I'd put my money on that guy to emerge as the legit 2nd receiving option behind their top WR over Byron Pringle, if I were to bet on it

I don't have the skin in the game enough to do the homework and math, but I would gather that if his yearly average of 5+ targets is being buoyed by a seven game stretch that was largely built on play from someone other than the normal QB..that his average with his normal QB would be significantly lower than the 5+, thus adding credence to Joe's theory![]()
Oh I'm not endorsing Pringle...only endorsing that Fields didn't seem to overly utilize the TE in basic principle...so in that aspect, I don't foresee growth in Kmet93 targets as a 22yr old TE....I expect that number to go up as he continues to develop, unless you think Kmet has peaked as a receiving TE in the league?
Byron Pringle didn't play in the NFL until he was 26yrs old and has 93 targets over 3 seasons, this isn't even a real conversation, is it? He'll become the first guy ever, in the history of the NFL, to break out as a 28yr old undrafted WR. Let's keep a level head here when analyzing 4th round picks in a 16tm dynasty league

none of them will be worth a flex spot besides Montgomery if Fields doesn't develop/get better throwing it
@bksballer89 is on the clock until 6:19 than @averagejoe can make his pick
Would love to see plenty of RPO, rollout, with trialing slots/TE's at multiple levels. Limits decision making, that underneath guy is ALWAYS open.. just to get the kid some confidencenone of them will be worth a flex spot besides Montgomery if Fields doesn't develop/get better throwing it
Can joe go and i pick when i get home? No time right now to review my draft board
Not sure i feel comfortable drafting before BK picks since he is still legitimately on the clock.EHB is not around, so letting Joe go before you @bksballer89 would only move us up 1 pick short term.
