This past Sunday, the dad of Harrison Meneghin (Tigers goalie) passed away as his son helped backstop the Tigers to the Central Division title. Last night, Harrison got the start between the pipes and pitched a 4-0 shutout of the Swift Current Broncos. Pretty great moment I must say.

Crazy game at the Langley Events Centre between Spokane and Vancouver earlier tonight. Spokane had a 6-0 lead going into period 3, the Giants score 5 goals in period 3 and had a late PP to try to tie the game. The Chiefs ice it with an empty netter though to take it 7-5.

Spokane has had several defensive lapses over the last month of the season, giving up at least 5 goals in 5 different games over that span. Definitely something they need to get shored up if they want to make any kind of run.

Everett is in a battle with Seattle who have split the first two games, I still expect Everett to win, but the T-Birds aren't making it easy.

I was surprised to see Seattle had one of the best records in the WHL since the trade deadline, went from a bubble playoff team to easily getting the 8 seed. Two of those five games I mentioned earlier that the Chiefs gave up a ton of goals were against the Thunderbirds. I won't complain at all if they manage to knock the Tips out, even if it means the Chiefs have to play them in the next round lol.

If Gavin is always gonna light it up like this after a suspension, then he needs to be drafted into a franchise that lets him goon it up from time to time. But I’d imagine he’ll end up in Chicago or Edmonton come next summer.

There are plenty of rumors out there that McKenna might go to a NCAA program next season prior to the draft. For selfish reasons, I hope he stays with the Tigers and it certainly would have helped if Medicine Hat had won the 2026 Memorial Cup bid. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
