Those 3 goals in the last 2 minutes of the second were crazy. Wish they could have pulled it out.

Still hate seeing host teams get rewarded for not having to battle through all 4 rounds of the playoffs, but it is what it is I suppose. That seems to be the winning strategy these days.

Moose Jaw lives to play another day as they beat Drummondville 5-3. Denton Mateychuk had a goal and two apples in the win. Goalie Jackson Unger of the Warriors saved 49 of 52 shots tonight.

I thought they were done when Firkus took that awful penalty. Teammates saved his ass by scoring a shorty.

Improbable as it is, the Warriors are just 2 wins away from lifting the trophy and only lost both games by 1 goal. Stranger things have happened.

I'm convinced there was bad juju from that moment. Up to that point the WHL had won somewhere around 50% of memorial cups going back several decades, however they've won just 1 of 15 since.

Was kind of a no win scenario yesterday. Couldn't really bring myself to root for London (not the players fault) but in the end another host wins after back dooring their way into the tournament. The game was entertaining at least.

Flint Firebirds just traded away 16 draft picks yesterday.
