I am really interested to see where they play Parsons in the base D. I keep reading Mike but I think he would be a great Will and might allow him an easier transition and flexibility to just run and blow shit up. Ideally he can and does excel in the middle but I wonder if that is where they put him right off the bat. On 3rd downs I think this guy is going to be a hybrid blitzer/drop guy. He is going to be tough to handle in the blitz. Like a big version of Jamal Adams coming at you from all over I think. Too fast for OL and too big for RBs to pick up. He may even line up at DE in some nickel spots. Boy, would this be the spot to talk Sean Lee into coming into camp to help out a little and be in this kids ear all day for a few weeks.

I know Jaylon kid of sucks and LVE wasn't much better the last two years but Imagine these 3 guys running around at the second level if we get a NT to eat up blocks and a 3 tech to penetrate and be still be good against the run?

Campbell I can live with in the second, just don't trade up. Melifonwu...in the 2nd? Nope. Guy gives up way too many catches, but is a solid tackler. Maybe get him in the late 3rd. I'd rank the CBs left I'd like: Campbell, Kelvin Joseph, Elijah Molden, & Asante Samuel2. After that, they all give up too many passes for me. Best one for deeper into the draft (3rd and later) that I like is Tre Brown for his tenacity and hip flip. I just hope we don't have to go that far before we take one.

Geez the deeper you dig the more you see our defense sucks. Overhaul needed at all 3 levels

LVE and Jaylon were not good the past two years LVE is already broken down and more injury prone than Sean Lee. it could be argued that we need to draft another linebacker.in addition to Parsons . Need a safety,corner and DT as well One draft is not going to fix this mess. We need to trade up for Asante Samuel Jr or Moehrig. Or maybe richie Grant or JOK. Cant believe JOK was not drafted in 1st round.

The Cowboys got a good return for only moving down two spots. The difference between No. 10 and No. 12 in the NFL draft pick value chart is 100 points. The pick the Eagles gave up at No. 84 is worth 170 points. That 70-point difference in the Cowboys’ favor is equivalent to No. 112 overall, which is 17 picks deep in the fourth round.

It makes sense to try and trade up in the 2nd round. Either Moehrig or JOK would be able to make plays. Can you imagine Parsons and Jok creating havoc?
