and he deserved it as he didn't play close to how he was capable. Deferred too much to Wade when he was their clear best player

Definitely. They figured that out and the rest, as they say, is history. But, Lebron actually played well. He averaged 18, 7 & 7 with 2 steals and 1 block per game. He just kept deferring late in games.

But don't kid yourself if you think all of the best players would be ripped if they played great for 47+ minutes, were the only reason their team had a shot, but missed the last shot to lose.

Obviously, it depends on the scenario. If they played great all game long and missed a last second shot to win the game...they're likely not going to be criticized.

But, if they play great, then shit the bed and go 2 for 10 down the stretch, they get to wear that. That's how a lot of the shine came off of Westbrook.

In the couple of seasons between Shaq leaving and the arrival of Pau, the Lakers had 2 first round exits as a low seed, Kobe played well, but he took the blame for those losses.

Anyone see the Flagrant 2 called on Sexton? whatever, I guess, but seemed a bit excessive. Never heard the explanation (sound was off). Anyone hear it?

the clippers are so scared of the lakers. This is an embarrassment

Yeah, this is just too obvious. OKC is easily getting blasted by other teams by 30 to 50 points, and yet a title favorite team is losing to them by double digits.

This might get interesting because the Thunder haven’t lost all these games to win this one.

My thing is you're supposedly some title contender. Why are you avoiding certain teams so hard? No way that team get to the finals if this is their mindset

Obviously anything can happen, but crazy to think that there’s a potential a team works so hard for 1st and 2nd seed and may draw Lebron and Steph in the first round, lol.

Exactly you have to play everyone anyway, it’s ridiculous that the Clippers sat people tonight with seeding on the line.

Shout out to Andrew Wiggins. Had the highest TS% with a career high 2pt % and career high 3pt % on the the 2nd lowest attempts per game in his career.

Career high ORTG and Career best DRTG.
Career high BPG.

He was extremely efficient in his first full year on the Warriors. 2nd best defender on the team after Draymond by a wide margin. guarded the best perimeter player all year and did a phenomenal job.

Wiggins is really benefiting from having Steph and Draymond in his ear. His play alone this year makes that DLo trade straight up a win for the Warriors and add on they got the Wolves pick and that’s a real win.

I agree. Also, I would think that you'd rather play the Lakers in the first round while LeBron and AD might still be working towards getting into peak form after being out for a while.

Unfortunately the Ws don't have enough to win a 7 game series. The defense can focus on shutting down Curry and while he might win them a game or 2, I don't see how they win 4 against a 1 or 2 seed at full strength.

I feel the Warriors wound up with the better player because Wiggins has size and can defend, but the pick, whether it's this year or next year, makes that trade a robbery.
