He said there were signs of him being a bad teammate and that he went on to become just that.

I think it's hilarious though that some of you think you know more about what was going on than an actual fan of the team.

Did you learn nothing when we Lakers fans being told our Dwight criticisms were sour grapes, only for him to prove us all right?

There were legitimate reasons why the chemistry wasn't there with Dwight in his first stint in LA. It wasn't a secret - the whole world knew about it.

You telling me there was any indication whatsoever that Harden was a bad teammate in OKC in his first three years in the league? Heck even the Thunder fan back tracked and said there was no evidence of it.

Again, Harden was willing to take the 4 year $50m deal OKC offered him, he just wanted a little extra time to consider.

Those are opposite things.

Was he willing to take it, or wasn't he? If he was willing to take it, why did he need more time to consider?

No they didn't. No one knew about him blowing off Kareem when he gave him his phone number and offered to work with him. No one knew about him blowing off Steve Nash when he offered to help him with his free throws. Those were the kinds of things that were known locally, but never got out nationally.

They're not opposites at all. If you want to make a decision that involves $50m you're going to want to weigh out all the options.

Yes they did. Brad Turner of the LA Times wrote extensively wrote about Dwight not willing to get help from Kareem as soon as it became public. And I read about it all the way from England.

This isn't the 70's and 80's where it takes time for news to travel. The moment a story drops, some kid in the outback of Australia has already read it on his iPad.

There may very well have been. What I'm not doing is telling someone else I know more about their team than they do.

Heck even the Thunder fan back tracked and said there was no evidence of it.

No he didn't.

lol

Wrong. He needed more time to consider which means he hadn't decided if he was willing to take it.

That was after he had already left. The story was out locally before that,

The LA Times is locally....

lol

Nice try.
Yes he did:

So he never did anything wrong....

but he was a bad teammate?

How does that work

You need to stop this bullshit. He literally said in the very post you quoted that he didn't do anything wrong "in leaving the Thunder". If someone was twisting your words like that, you'd be losing your shit.

You're not following a conversation I'm having with someone else correctly and you're telling me to quit the bullshit?

Give me a fucking break with the hypocrisy.

Thunderc was giving his reasons for not liking Harden. Amongst one of them was "being a bad teammate". It all started with post #12,432. Feel free to look it up.

I'm calling out his BS that he was a bad teammate in OKC and you're backing him up without any evidence at all. Or are we still going to be using the "he fucked up with Houston" almost a decade later as an excuse for what a 22 year old Harden did in his 3rd year in the league.

So what news were you and other local LA residents aware of that the rest of the country/world didn't know?

You are aware of this thing called the internet, right? Stories of what happen to the most franchised team in league history aren't exactly just confined to the local news papers.
