Being reported he is out for weeks. Surely he didn’t make it worse by wanting to keep that record going. I mean who does that.

People care about things like that. I don't see the issue

You don't think there were days Ripken wanted to sit out but couldn't do it because of that streak he had going?
Oh I know, different situation than coming back in after an injury. He can do what he wants though.

Lebron is not out here trying to please you. I don't know about you but I would prefer to see that streak go down because he had a bad game and not because he got hurt early in a game

1st round about go be very very interesting!!!!!!!!!

Assuming Lebron is out at least 2 weeks, great chance Lakers struggle to win games. I'm guessing they now end up as a 4-6 seed.

Bout to be the first 9 seed to win the Finals

And triple doubles all day. I keep hammering it here because he gets no respect.

Draymond has 3 triple doubles.
In 30 minutes a game he's averaging 6/6/9 and shooting 40/25/77.
His advanced stats are also mediocre.

He's better than his stats but not that much better.
Average NBA players peak around age 28. Dray is now 31.
He is now an average PF on a .500 team.
His passing and play-making are very good. Defense is no longer elite but still good. These are offset by bad shooting and bad ability to space the floor which has increased importance in today's NBA, especially for the Warriors who are top 5 in 3PA's and will probably shoot more when Klay returns.

Draymond's EFF rating:

2012-13-------------------481
2013-14-------------------973
2014-15------------------1905
2015-16------------------2512
2016-17------------------1944
2017-18------------------1932
2018-19------------------1704
2019-20-------------------658
2020-21-------------------605

Stats don't tell the whole story but there is no doubt Dray is in a serious decline.

Heat Twitter is a horrible place to be. Makes sense why players hate social media. Heat lose 2 in a row and the sky is falling again
well their schedule has been pretty much poop for a while now.

They beat the Jazz which was a very impressive win--- and beat the Lakers without Davis.

They lost to the Warriors on February 18th. Since then they have gone 11-3

Wins against:

OKC who pretty much sucks
LAL without Davis
a mediocre under .500 Toronto team
a very impressive win vs. the Jazz
a split against a very mediocre to bad Hawks team
win over a mediocre to poor New Orleans team
win over a wretched Orlando
win over a wretched Chicago
another win over a wretched Orlando
win over a bad Cleveland

then two losses against the Pacers and Griz.

give them credit for beating the teams they are supposed to beat- but for the most part they have taken advantage of a ridiculously easy schedule.

basically have one good win- which was a great win- Jazz--- and then a decent win vs. a Davis-less Lakers who were in the process of losing 4 straight. Everything else has been pretty much poop.

Top 3 is impossible until Draymond goes there
draymond isnt relevant enough to be widely hated anymore. who hates a league average power forward?

once a guy stops winning and is in decline no one really cares anymore.

I hated Paul Pierce- but when he started losing it and was passed his prime and went to a mediocre Nets team I really didnt care anymore. People care a lot less when a guy has declined and isnt winning.

If its badly sprained hes done until the playoffs if they rest it right.
he usually dramatizes his injuries. I swear there were times he would hit the floor and roll around and would make you think he was done for 2 months and be right back up shooting free throws 2 minutes later.

i bet hes out 3 games.

plus he wants that MVP. With Embiid hurt he sees its right there. If he can help it he will be back as soon as possible as not to lose ground.

I dont completely disagree but high ankle can be a bad deal depending on severity. Especially for a guy his size.

We will see but if its severe he misses at least half of what remains of the regular season.

You do know a soft schedule usually follows when you had one of the toughest schedules in basketball right? What lame excuse are you going to use when they beat Phoenix and/or Portland this week?

When it come to gambling I might be the worst. Last night picked the Lakers to win, they didn't. I picked Illinois to win, down by 9 at half.

@ChiefsLakers67

I figured out how I can derail your Lakers season. Just keep picking them to win. I'm such a jinx if I took the Globetrotters they would lose.
