Durant missed the start of the game due to contact tracing. GOT CLEARED to play then in the early quarter, he was then told he can't play for the rest of the night due to contact tracing.

The contact tracing obviously isn't working if a player get cleared to play then within the next 90 minutes, he is told he can't play

Lol no it doesn't. As @wildturkey said a inconclusive test should be treated as a positive test....not as a negative test. The NBA season didn't just start so they should know what to do with an inconclusive test

No need for me to have a conversation with people who think players should play if a test came back inconclusive. If player safety is such a concern then you sit that player out a game instead of possibly putting 2 teams out of action for 2 weeks because you decided to be careless. But the nba showed us several times this season that they don't care players safety. What happened last night and trying still play the AS game are just the latest 2 examples

Maybe. There were some initial positive tests, but the NBA then had nearly 500 tests that were all negative before KD who apparently had a contact tracing issue.

I'm sure there will be a couple that will violate it. But my guess is that the vast majority will follow it.
