WiggityWack gonna WiggityWack...

that Heat hared still goes on..
They made it to the Finals and had 71 days off in between seasons....

The Cavs? Oh, that's right....they missed the playoffs and had plenty of offseason to go fishing and be rested for this season.

So the Cavs are better?

How much do you want to bet the Cavs will be drafting before the Heat?
i hope they will draft higher than the Heat. i hope the Cavs win less than 30 games and get a high pick in the best draft in a decade. They have a bunch of 22 year old kids on their roster and are building something from the ground up after spending all their assets for years on 4 straight finals trips.

i think last year was a fluke for Miami during the "Bubble" aka the Freak Show. The bubble, the East had a ton of injuries- from the Nets to the Pacers, etc...

the Sixers, Nets, and Bucks are the class of the East. Miami isnt close to those teams.

but we shall see who is right as the season goes on.

The bubble benefitted the Heat it seems. Not that they didn't scrap and fight their way to the championship but I don't see them getting there again this year even 100 percent healthy.

They are getting dealt a shitty hand though.

"Butler was a horrible pickup."

'Riley has lost his fastball."

No shit, he is almost 80. But, he has a great changeup.

if Barrett is going to be anyhting he has to become a much better shooter.

he has the athleticism -thats for sure. He sure looks the part

but if you are going to be a volume shooter you gotta do better.

biggest knock on Sexton coming out of college was that people doubted his shot- especially from 3.

he worked his tail off and has shot the 3 at a very high level.

if Barrett cant put the work in and impove he will be a major disappointment from where he was drafted and heralded to be.

This regular season will be more of a fluke than the bubble when you're playing a best of 7 series on a neutral site. The better team should always win in that scenario. Meanwhile this season you'll have situation where more than half a team can miss a couple of games due to covid protocols and if a player test positive for positive then they're automatically out two weeks which is about 6+ games in the NBA.

FTR Milwaukee doesn't look that special this season. Philly is Philly.

As for the Nets, I would hope a team with 3 top 15 players including the 2nd best player in the world would be better than the Heat.

totally agree.

plus Riley didnt do anything to improve the team in the offseason- in fact it got worse on the bench. Iggy is so cooked its not even funny. Riley tried to preserve cap space to chase Giannis and that blew up in his face.

I mean once KD came back, it was obvious the top 2 in the East should be Brooklyn and Milwaukee. I still think Miami is in that second tier but this season is beyond unpredictable with this covid crap.

If you want to say the bubble benefited the Heat, i'm ok with that but the injury excuse that Wiggy continues to use is so lame. This guy knowing Sabonis would be out and knowing how Oladipo was looking picked Indy over 7 in Miami but now he keep bringing up the Sabonis injury.

Heat will be fine. There is always a back up option. This free agency class wasn't anything special. Only thing he did wrong was not bring back Jones Jr. Not even mad at Crowder as they offered him 14 mil. He just wanted a multiyear contract

riley signed harkless and bradley, and hoped nunn would take the next step. instead nunn has regressed in a huge way, iggy is awful, bradley has been hurt/mediocre after he opted out of the bubble last year

and Butler has had injury issues/covid issues and has only played in 6 of 11 games.

its a combination of bad luck and the bench getting worse.

Nunn is the one that i think is really hurting them. He averaged 15 points a game last year. Right now it looks like Spoelstra has no confidence in him and when he has got run he has been pretty bad.
