The fucking Nets need Phil Jackson right now and I don't know if he could make it work with their current big 3. LOL.

Shiiiiit the Nets don't need the Zen Master. They need a team shrink!

He has a no trade clause?

No.

He has no trade value unless he says he wants out.

He would totally retire/sit out if he ended up in a place he didn’t want to play. He basically did that last year.

Brooklyn would not be a place to be for a normal person, the price of lap dances just tripled.

Houston got a load of picks and Brooklyn is so fucked if this doesn't work out.

The only question I have is ... how many other teams in the NBA could have had that deal if they were willing to trade away that many picks?

"The trade was agreed to after the Rockets opted to keep Harden away from Wednesday's practice, following the former MVP's comments Tuesday that Houston isn't "good enough" to compete for a championship."

Cousins and Wall would have tag teamed Harden in a beatdown.....LOL

So they are fucked then
I don't think Irving will last there for much longer and I think KD and Harden is better than KD and Irving.....I like them getting to the Finals more now than I did before.....think the ECF is the Nets vs Sixers now.

So who's sacrificing shots?

I think a lot of sacrifice has to be made to make this work. It will take a tremendous coaching job. Here is how it could work if all parties are willing.

This is not your typical big 3 where 1 guy takes a distant back seat. Obviously they will all lose some touches and shots, but it is probably KD who loses the most because he is the least assertive of the 3.

Harden and Kyrie have to be willing to engage in the offense playing off the ball. Their minutes need to be very staggered. Nets should never have both on the bench and minutes together should always be less than 18-20, and probably closer to 12 in the regular season. KD is going to need to be okay being a pick and pop screener at times, and Harden is going to have to be okay giving KD some ISO possessions here and there. KYrie and Harden need to be willing to take turns when on the court together.

Their defense just got a lot worse, so they need to maximize everything they got offensively for this to work.

It can work, but it is going to be very difficult and there is a lot of potential for drama detailing the season. If that happens, this could end up being Nets/Celtics part 2, but with a lot more upside this time around.

They got a lot worse defensively. And they weren’t good there to begin with. Will be interesting.

And I think that's asking too much of Harden AND Irving.
