What about since? Barrett has made 18 of 34 FG's and 5 of 10 on 3's.....part of the reason the Knicks are now 4-3. Him and Randle.

It's really early but the Knicks look good.

Thibs was the right hire IMO. His act wears on veterans but is perfect for 1 of the youngest teams in the League. They are playing hard and giving great effort on defense.

Randle and Barrett are a nice little duo. I like Payton but they need an upgrade at PG.....if they had managed to somehow trade for CP.....they would be a really solid team. But, their depth isn't that great either.

However, if they get a solid deal for Randle.....you have to trade him so you can get playing time for Toppin. Maybe trade him for a 1st and some pieces to add depth. And add a player in the next draft.

Regardless, their future looks pretty bright.

After tonight's game the #sixers are allowing 99.4 points per 100 possessions, which is more than 3 points per possession better than the 2nd ranked defense. With Joel Embiid on the floor they allow only 94.6 points per 100 and have a +21.2 net rating.




Embiid is a beast.

well i posted that on Dec 27. So he's had 4 games since then. the following two games he was 8 of 34. and 0-11 from 3 Then the next two he was 15-34, and 5-10 from 3. So since posting that hes 26 of 68. and 5-21 from 3. A tad bit different.

But yeah his last two games have been much better.

A gradual decline in talent. Over the last two years, they lost Kawhi, Danny Green, Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka. They didn't really replenish it either. They've got a couple of younger players that could be good role players down the road, but they aren't there yet.

Even with all of that they should still be a middle-of-the-pack squad. Siakam's issues have really, really hurt this team and maybe that should've been expected but it's unignorable now.

If things don't turn around soon they're going to have to gauge trading Lowry.

And in addition to that, he's actually one of the best inside scorers, too. 64.5% shooting on shots inside 3 feet.

Clown on Jammin' Jimmer all you want but he's living the dream. Getting paid to play the game.....they can make bank playing a 10-12 year career in a foreign country.

Fucker is worth 7 million. Alebit, most of that is from the NBA but they can make good money elsewhere.
