2021 MARINER WINS???

For most of us, the team has already exceeded expectations... This is the 1st time in years I've actually felt hope for an M's team moving forward...

Yeah I think I had them around 70. But at this point they'd have to fall off a cliff to not finish over .500.

Wow, most of the posts for number of wins this season are falling far short.

In order to be "in the ball park" witn 28 games remaining, with these guesses, the M's can only win this percentage of the remaining games:

@74 wins - NWinAZ would need appx 7% wins
@78 wins - SeattleCoug and myself would need appx 21% wins
@81 wins - Anointed One would need appx 32% wins
@83 wins - DHoey would need appx 40% wins
@87 wins - Ulmax would need appx 53% wins

Unless the "stuff" hits the fan, it's looking like Ulmax will be the closest guess and win the GRAND PRIZE-to be announced at a later date.

I think I was similar with VERY tempered expectations ( an $80mil payroll only goes so far ) - then they went all TB Rays on everyone and have a foot in the door with a glimmer of a chance at playing in October ( even losing a 1 game WC playoff would be a monumental step moving forward for this franchise )

Sadly they are chasing a couple ballclubs with massive post season pedigree and I truly doubt this season progresses into October.... BUT it has been a huge win for this .org moving forward and I believe they may be on the fringe of something starting in 2022. They have a purse full of money and a clubhouse full of young talent that got a taste of winning and competing and seemed to come together and rally / sack up and play some pretty decent ball over the course of a full 162 game season.

I wanted Seager gone so bad over the past few years .... but after this years offensive numbers, how do you not jam a cool $24mil at him to extend him for another year or whatever 2-3 year plan they put together ( I would prefer 1 yr extension ) as he is NOT a part of the rebuild and do not wanna see $80mil going his way over a 3yr run.

right now today..they have 26 games left..they are at 74 wins...
will..they win..13 more....i would say..they......... could and should...but here comes...the big..one..do...

they..hit 90 wins..that is playoff...numbers...now you can hit 90 wins...and not go the playoffs..yes..it is true..

with the addition..of taylor..and toro..at..the...deadline..sure helped...i will leave..it hanging there...lololol

Yea Competitive in the WC race and shoot I mean still not out of the division race, with only 2 of your future pieces up. With a lot of money to play with this off-season if you play it right the Mariners could catapult themselves from fringe this year to actual contenders next year. Of course all will have to see to believe.

for the last...case..in point.........for now...at ..your leisure...consider.......who is in a long LH...ROLE...for SF........(.i also have in fantasy..and he racks up the points...and when i only have ...1 or 2...starting pitchers...that helps...........)

well the sweep..of arizona...is nice,,,,and now...there is houston...and evey,,game with ,,them..is big...for sure,,,they will try..to...do there normal..

and it is in houston,,,so,,...they are 4.5...games behind..houston..any..win..is good...more is better...of coarse.....

i dont think..they can sweep them..in there own house...but if they could,,,they would look...really good......only 1.5 back...
