Davis for Ingram, Ball, pick that became Garland, Hart, multiple additional unprotected first rounders and pick swaps.

Plus they let Randle walk. Got that championship, but if I could keep that and still reverse the trade? I would reverse it in a heartbeat. Same with the Westbrook deal.

If for nothing else, it erases the Westbrook deal.

With that being said, the Lakers got a chip out of it.

So, should they really have deep regrets?

What's one chip out of 17? They would be well on their way to the next one sooner, could be a wash ultimately.

15. Deandre Ayton bullied his way to 19 points and 10 rebounds. The Heat had nothing to say about JaVale McGee’s 11 points and 15 rebounds off the bench. Overall, the Suns outrebounded Miami, 55-38. And this is my concern for the Heat as the playoffs approach. Well, two concerns.

One is if the Nets claim the No, 8 seed and the Heat are No. 1, Kevin Durant is healthy, Ben Simmons comes back, and maybe the New York City vaccination rules change, allowing Kyrie Irving to be fully available. Even if they don’t, a healthy Durant makes the Nets a very dangerous playoff team. Just ask Team France at the Olympics.

17. The other concern I have for the Heat is size. The Sixers, led by Joel Embiid, are huge. The Bucks, with Giannis Antetokounmpo, are big and will be bigger if Brook Lopez returns. Even the Cavs, who are struggling right now, start three 7-footers when they are healthy. Bam Adebayo is the Heat’s tallest starter. We’re being generous if we say he’s 6-10.

NBA officials miss a lot of calls AND they are still relatively good at a really hard job.

It's really bizarre how no matter what the circumstances are you always defend the refs.

When I pointed out how lousy the refs have been all season long a few weeks ago you told me I get all my opinions by watching highlights on social media. And I still get a great laugh outta that. Truly the most incorrect and oddball thing I've ever seen you say.

Then after trying to tell you multiple times my opinions are based on watching live games you doubled down on your incorrect assumptions that my opinions are from social media.

Yeah but no guarantee they even take Garland. I mean even what CLE did made more sense, Sexton is short but he has SG playmaker ability. Ball is a more of a true PG. If at that point they think Ball is their future PG-they probably don't draft Garland unless they intend to move Ball (which they did anyway but for a star). I think Hunter, Culver or even Reddish is realistic but it also depends on who the FO loved.

One report says they loved Culver....who really knows but it did seem like Garland was right there in the mix too

They're allowed to lose basketball games. Funny how i didn't see the same article written when the heat beat the suns by 23 a few months ago.
