Yeah, I don’t care to get in the middle of you and DJ.

I know you were not talking about me with the line at the bottom.

You and @Shanemansj13 repeatedly talk about “how bad the officials are”. He even said it last night. Probably should have quoted him.

NBA officials miss a lot of calls AND they are still relatively good at a really hard job.

Both things are true.
How do you feel about the charge of preferential treatment towards stars both with calls and no-calls?

I read some data a few years back that was pretty damning on refs pretty much league wide seeming to imply that they "take care" of certain players throughout the season...even late in games in close contests.

Sorry if this is me reopening a can of worms that's been discussed on here before but I'd like some takes on it from you guys.

MJ, Kobe, James, all the stars have gotten preferential treatment over the years.

Probably some more I haven't mentioned.

Some are the best, some are good and some are bad. I can say that the Cavs mainly get dealt the worst of the worst most nights and there is data to back it up, so that is likely the case. I am just watching the young, most inexperienced refs mainly

Honestly, in the last 6-7 years Lebron doesn’t get a lot of calls. Other stars actually get more calls. Lebron is so big and strong they miss a lot of foul calls.

Huge Sixers game tonight and I’m stuck on this 4 day overnight retreat with high school kids. And to make matters worse, 3 of the 38 kids puking in trash cans through the night. Haha! FML!

Okc should take notes
Thunder are walking a fine line for sure. I think they will finish with the 4th worst record and have about a 12.5 percent shot at the top pick. The bottom 3 only have a 14 percent chance so not a lot of difference.

Best thing they got going for them is Orlando and Detroit are winning games more frequently. Did they tell Giddey it is ok for for him to start summer vacation now?

Still saying he will be reassessed in about a week but I don’t expect him to play again.

Houston and Orlando, even Detroit are starting to play a little better...I think OKC ends up in the top 3. Whether the lottery is kind to them is a different story. I want to see them with a #1 and possibly pair the Auburn kid or Holmgren with SGA

Would be nice but it’s one thing for them to be playing better with a 3 game cushion. I expect that to change as it shrinks. Yes I know Presti is salivating over Holmgren no doubt.

I bet tonight’s game will be the most watched game of the season to date
