Day of the trade I felt dirty cause the Beard was mine. But a day later I embraced it. I kind of enjoy it when my team is the villain. And the Sixers offense is night and day with him in there.

This is on Doc. He needs to:
1. Manufacture role guys around them
2. Get Harris settled into a role that doesn’t sacrifice Embiid Harden Maxey and their roles
3. Find a defensive system centered around Embiid that can work with these pieces come playoff time

But Doc just got his best chance in awhile. The two man game of Embiid/Harden means Doc won’t get exposed in a series for an inability to adjust. Embiid/Harden presents too much with two players who can score multiple ways on 3 different levels and Harden is one of the best decision makers I’ve ever seen play pick n roll.
2 games in and you can clearly see Embiid and Harden is going to work.

Haha, he’s getting Embiid Clint Capela dunks. A dialed in Harden with a dude like Embiid’s pick and pop game then defense just can’t be right.

Good. Now I don't feel so bad saying phuck philly. :D Dammit why can't my team pull off a great trade like this!?!?

I seen no reason why your 76ers won't get better with each game played. And they'll be a damn tough opponent for anyone in the playoffs. Said before Harden played his first game in Philly that the Embiid/Harden combo has the potential to be scary good. Well they looked scary good today.

I wanna see a Philly/Brooklyn playoff series so bad. 76ers would win in 6 because baby Ben's fragile feelings would get in the way of him playing in Philly. What a coward.

Minny isn't the best team but they are vastly improved and the Sixers made them look like a JV team.

I was always there on a trade for a guy like him but I will go to my grave convinced they didn’t have to give up Drummond and Curry.
Yeah, they did actually.

The Nets weren't doing it just for Simmons and a draft pick.....the Nets needed shooting and y'all can replace Curry in the offseason.

I do have concerns about the Sixers' depth at backup center and power forward. They need to try more Paul Reed or something because Millsap is not the answer. They did sign Willie Cauley-Stein so maybe he gets a look at backup C.

But of course in the playoffs when they shorten the bench this is a nonissue, provided they can stay healthy.

I am convinced that they had no choice but to get rid of Harden. He was actively trying to blow it up.

Only guy I’m seeing that absolutely deserves to be in the playoff rotation is Niang and you need more than that. I think their best option is being wasted in the G League for Jo’s back up in Bassey. Hell, even undersized BBall Paul is a better option than Milsap.

Millsap can't start or play a lot of minutes but 10-12mpg is doable.

WCS is a decent backup for 10-12mpg.
