@DJ was right about this one.

 @ Lebron.

“Because LeBron wanted an alpha to help him carry the load and kick AD in the a**,” says Bucher. “And he didn’t see that in DeRozan. The same DeRozan he routinely dispatched when they were both in the Eastern Conference. Remember how they called Toronto, ‘LeBronto,’ because of the way he cruised past them in the playoffs? DeRozan was on the other end of that. And that is why he chose Russ over DeRozan.”

So for all those folks that wanted me to like Lebron...

Yep, pretty sure I was against DeRozan too. Don't tell him though, we don't need @DJ runnin' around here all full of himself. lol

DeRozan has been great for the Bulls this season. But the playoffs haven't started yet.

The Lakers should have played small ball and gone after Buddy Hield and kept Caruso. I think most of us thought something along these lines.

He just wants the organization to damn the future and win at all costs- and if they dont - or if the assets are all gone- he leaves.

Agree.

Lebron spent his first 7 years in Cleveland and went to one finals, with Larry Hughes(lol) as his #2.

I think LeBron decided in about year 6 that he wasn't going to spend any more of his career playing for teams that weren't going all in to win a championship.
He felt he was the best player in the game and he wanted to be seen that way when his career ended.
So he put himself in contract situations where he could put pressure on the owner to win now...or he would leave.

Since that first stint in Cleveland he has been to 9 Finals in 12 years.
Like it or not, LeBron's way of managing his career has worked out pretty well for him.
...and for the teams that sign him.
Its hard as hell to get to the NBA Finals. The best formula for reaching the Finals for the last 12 years has been...Sign LeBron James and put a good team around him. That can't be said of any other player over that stretch.

OH THANK GOD!!

I was starting to worry that we were going to go a whole day without you or bks crying about the refs.

I can sleep soundly tonight knowing that the Apocalypse has been held off for at least 1 more day.

Detroit shot 89 from the stripe
Cleveland 67. That's the game

Despite Cade struggling from the field the dude is already one of the best free throw shooters in the league.

I can't recall seeing a season Derozan is having; one where a guy who is good but not great his whole career some how goes nuclear this late into it. I mean you see younger guys take leaps, but not vets 10+ years in
And he’s doing it without the 3 ball which is amazing to me. He’s the current king of the midrange game.

I couldn't care less, as it doesn't affect the one team of his I care about.

Wasn't treating it as a shot, more of an opportunity to brag up my Rams lol.

When I called him a schmuck yesterday you had an issue that. You're the only Rams fan that said something about it. Anyway. The greedy Kroenke's own the Nuggets & the Avalanche. They also own altitude sports. He wants to raise the cost of if from around $8 a month to more than $40. This has been going on now for three years.

Responding to your post doesn't automatically mean I'm taking issue with something lol. Even Rams fans (especially those from STL) have issues with Kroenke; I don't. As long as he keeps paying out to get players to win, I'm happy. Any local issues don't matter to me in snowy Western NY lol.
On that note, what the hell with Friday weather this year? Seems like every snow storm lately is Thursday night into Friday (other than the storm we had MLK day). No school this week, so the plow drivers were lazily behind schedule this AM.
