Responding to your post doesn't automatically mean I'm taking issue with something lol. Even Rams fans (especially those from STL) have issues with Kroenke; I don't. As long as he keeps paying out to get players to win, I'm happy. Any local issues don't matter to me in snowy Western NY lol.
On that note, what the hell with Friday weather this year? Seems like every snow storm lately is Thursday night into Friday (other than the storm we had MLK day). No school this week, so the plow drivers were lazily behind schedule this AM.

Not sure what's up with the weather. It's been damn cold around here the last couple of days. Today & yesterday got into the low 20's. But a few days before that it didn't even reach double digits. One day the high was 5.

I think it was a misunderstanding on my part looking back at things. In the past you've had some issues with sarcastic stuff I've said about the Lakers. And when I called Kroenke a moron I thought you took that outta context as a shot at the Rams. My bad for that.

While I did want the Bengals to win I got nothing against the Rams. Was very happy for Von Miller, been following his career since his rookie season. And Donald's simply too great of a player not to have a ring to go with all the other awards he's won. Both will be in HOF when their incredible careers are over.

Yep. Just forget that bubble championship ever happened.

Not sure what that has to do with not liking Lebron. A fan can enjoy and appreciate a title, even if the team was led to the title by a player they don't like.

I was never a Kobe fan. I appreciated and enjoyed the 5 titles he played a big part in the team winning...but I didn't like him until after the Achilles injury when he went all "Uncle Kobe" and started mentoring younger players. I didn't become an actual Kobe fan, until after he retired and I saw how he was with his daughters.

We're in a solar minima. So there is less solar activity right now which helps keep temperatures lower. Here, it got down to 27 degrees the other night. I can't remember the last time it was that cold. That same day, during the day, it snowed, but there wasn't enough to stick. We have snow at some of the lowest elevations I can remember ever seeing.

Damn. How often does it snow where you're at? I've only been to Cali twice. Went to Needles & Death Valley. But I don't think that really counts.

If memory serves, the last time it snowed here was around 2002 or 03. I remember because I was at work and my wife called to tell me it was snowing. Prior to that, probably early 90's. lol

@ChiefsLakers67 is a perfect example of that. And there's nothing wrong with that. For as talented as Kyrie is I was disgusted when the Celtics traded for him. It's not that hard to dislike a player on a team your root for.

Holy shit. It snowed a couple of times the five years in lived in the Vegas area. Quick funny story about weather. So got to NV. in early '06. That summer went to the Tempe/Scottsdale area to see some friends that live there. It started raining and people literally were running outta the bars celebrating. I didn't get it. It's rain I thought. Then I spent my first summer in the Vegas desert & always remember them in AZ. celebrating rain.

Good point made on the Cowherd show by Emmanuel Acho.

"Lebron James the General Manager has undermined all of the hard work put in by Lebron James the player".

He said he ultimately invested in the wrong "Robin" and got fooled by the bubble season into believing AD could stay healthy. Then he convinced himself that he could get Westbrook to play different than he has his whole career.

Ended with "This is the bed Lebron has made and now he gets to lay in it".

It‘s possibly a grand solar minima, but no worries the global warning should keep us all from freezing!

GO GO PETRO!

Makes sense. The only thing that could make LeBron look better in this is if the organization behind closed doors guaranteed him they'd make any trade necessary then changed their mind at the trade deadline. But that's a helluva what if. And doubtful.

But WTF was he thinking in first place putting together a team like this? Has to be one of the oldest team in league history.

LeBron should get the praise he deserves for his unmatched career. But with that without pointing out the failures it doesn't tell an accurate story of his career.

To make up for that silly Heatles welcome party LeBron & the Heat organization should consider throwing him a retirement party in Miami.

Absolutely.

You listen to the Lowe post?

He said the Lakers had a deal with Sacto trading Kuz , Trezl for Hield.

The Lakers would have still had KCP, the 2021 first rounder and the ability to keep Caruso.

Ouch.
