Watching Damian tonight, like others said, he looks different. Just his body language, like he doesn’t care. Damian has always been an emotional guy and I feel it carries his game to another level. Nothing tonight, he still had some great shots but he just looks different
Yeah....when he hit that deep 3 I thought he might try to take over and he didn't.

I’m gonna nit pick with an eye on playoff basketball. Why isn’t Doc fucking around with high pick and roll with Maxey/Embiid?!?!? Maxey has offensive instincts that are borderline elite but raw. He needs to drill the kid on 4-5 decisions to be made off pick and roll and let him go figure it out. This is especially true on a night with no Harris (and no DG but he doesn’t often take shots so far this year).

But I mean what I said about Curry being an under utilized option to close. If he isn’t a big piece of the offensive flow in the 4th quarter why even have him on the floor? He does more off the dribble than people give him credit for as well. I’ll credit our local guy Allah Abdulnabe for pointing that out last year.

There is lots to nitpick with from a coaching standpoint, but to his credit I think Doc is playing a lot of people and letting them get game experience. Isaiah Joe played and did some things, hit a 3. I see this as a positive.

On Curry, they seem to be doing exactly what you wrote. And he has been up and down but he delivered a clutch bucket tonight.

Really liking what I am seeing from Toronto.
Playing physical. Great defence
Getting lots of depth scoring.
Siakam on the way back.
Nick Nurse is coaching his ass off
Cavs play Toronto Friday. Looking forward to it, I haven’t seen Toronto play much this year. Gonna be a tough matchup

Like that he looks for his shot more, too. sure they are mostly dunks or from 2-5 feet but so what? Have to admit when it got down to 1 thought the youngsters could fold...but they never lost the lead (like at Charlotte, too).

Surprised they started Wade. I get it with LM but figured they might go with a traditional SF and used Osman or Windler (who looked good...not just the shooting either).
Yeah with no Mark and Love, Wade has more size and it seems like he is a little better defender? Either way I figured he wouldn’t get the bulk of the minutes. Also noticed they did play Mobley at the 5 some which is good for experience. Have to switch it up with little big depth for now

Only thing I can think of is they are used to having that much size.....but makes sense with LM as he's pretty good. Not saying it to rip Wade but just doesn't seem like the type you'd change from the norm.

worked, so who cares I guess.

First team we play who was not at least a play in team last season.....and they are certainly no gimme (not that anyone is yet for us).

This has a positional aspect for me. I think that when you’re actively trying to get shots for a shooter you’re still running offense and the ball is moving. It’s less iso ball. When the ball moves you get the best shots and that’s who they need to be. Pre-Simmons trade, they don’t have one guy that can close. They need to close as a group and they need to do it with defense.

Just watched the game replay.
Good to see the Dubs are still rolling along.
It was close throughout, until late in the 4th.
Hornets went scoreless in the last 5:23 of the game.
GP II was the difference maker on both ends.
Also, J-Poole went a career best 7-16 from behind the arc.

In a shocking development, the minnesota timberwolves are below .500 for the 1st time this year.

If you're a real man then you drop $500 right now on the cavs
I'd drop $100 or $200 on it but before I do I would have to see them play some of the best of the east. Even then, seems like a waste of money lol

I mean, a $20 bet buys you a top of the line UHD TV for you to watch your parade on (if you win)...

And if you lose, which is the most likely outcome, who gives a shit, it's only $20

Yeah shit can happen and all the stars on other teams can down with covid at the right time. I don't need any more TV's but I can splurge.
