It'll be interesting. Vogel? Maybe. While this mess isn't on him, if they want a scapegoat...he's the easiest to replace because, while he is good coach, he's not a great coach. Finding a good coach isn't that difficult, finding a great one is very difficult. It'll be interesting because Lebron doesn't appear to really have any issue with him.

Pelinka? That would surprise me a bit. He was hired on Kobe's recommendation. Jeanie can be loyal to a fault, so I would be a little surprised if she fired him just because it's what Lebron wants.
Honestly, I can see where Davis and Westbrook could be a good team is Davis can stay out of the nursing home long enough to play

Sorry Mecca. Hell my team hasn't made it to the conference finals even.
I was thinking something very similar to what you said though - The Lakers made it to the playoffs two of the four years Lebron has been with us - and brought the Lakers a championship - so from a marketing point of view - it was worth - My thought wasn't necessarily about the Clippers as much as the vast majority of the teams get so close and then lose. Sacramento was one three point shot away from beating the Lakers to go onto their first final ever. Portland had the game in the bag in 2000 and even Lakers fans were going home before the game ended. It is nuts

In the games Lebron was out and AD was able to play, they actually played fairly well together.

Personally, I don't think Lebron can find a better choice than the Lakers who have went out of their way to kiss his ass. Westbrook was a bad fit because LeBron plays the point guard. That is the reason Irving left Cleveland... Now if Lebron had been playing small forward and let Westbrook run the point guard, they would have done better. The problem for Lebron now is that other teams are not going to blow Everything up for one season of Lebron as he is at the last part of his career. The Lakers just severed ties with Jerry West for being an ass, so I think the Lakers are getting tired of Lebron s bullshit

Bill Walton has to be the most overrated player in NBA history.

Looked like he would be great and then he got hurt. That counts. Otherwise where the hell is Grant Hill and Penny Hardaway in the top 75

I hadn't kept up with who's in the top 75. But I agree with this, Bill Walton had potential to be a great player, but he never achieved that. Honestly think Hill and Penny accomplished more at the professional level.

Dude, every team has gone out of their way to kiss his ass. Lebron was able to hold Cleveland over a barrel the 2nd time he was their and they had to accomodate all of his requests/demands. Westbrook is a bad fit overall wherever he goes. He's played with some exceptionally great players in Harden, KD, Paul George and it's just never worked. Lebron is another to add to the list.

It's interesting with Walton. His early career, before his feet fell apart, he was definitely a top 75 all time player. As a Lakers fan, I hated that guy because he was one of very few that could handle prime Kareem. He also had a bit of a resurgence with the Celtics for about a season and a half and was an important part of a title team with them.

So, if you go by the player he was when he was healthy, he definitely belongs...but I don't think he had enough healthy years. I think some of his being on the list may be the same reason he's in the Basketball Hall of Fame...he had an amazing college career. But, unlike the Hall of Fame, top 75 is strictly based on a players NBA career (or should be).

I get his peak was a top 75 guy but you gotta have longevity imo. He didn't.

HOFer Ralph Sampson sayz hello.

Walton led the surprising Blazers to one helluva Finals upset in '77 and was MVP. In '78 he was league MVP. Hill & Hardaway never won anything.

Too bad the injury bug derailed his career. His first four years in the league he averaged 16.6 ppg, 13.4 rebs, 4.4 asts (which is incredible for a C), 2.5 blks & almost one stl. per game. In '77 he led the league reb's & blks.
