Both Pelinka and Vogel will be the fall guys if this goes as expected even though I'm CERTAIN that neither wanted Russ. That's just how it works.

It'll be interesting. Vogel? Maybe. While this mess isn't on him, if they want a scapegoat...he's the easiest to replace because, while he is good coach, he's not a great coach. Finding a good coach isn't that difficult, finding a great one is very difficult. It'll be interesting because Lebron doesn't appear to really have any issue with him.

Pelinka? That would surprise me a bit. He was hired on Kobe's recommendation. Jeanie can be loyal to a fault, so I would be a little surprised if she fired him just because it's what Lebron wants.

Sixers being linked to Willy Caulley Stein. Man, I hope Morey does more than that on the buyout market. He is good for 8 minutes a game to spell Embiid but Sixers need a wing who can shoot a little bit and defend his position.

It's not set in stone.

But, he's not asking for one for obvious reasons.

He's playing 30 mins a game.

So, even if Orlando doesn't want to keep him, he can audition for other teams.

So, he wants Orlando to keep his bird rights for a possible sign and trade.

Can't really see him getting a decent payday any other way.
