I have been saying this for some time now that the Lakers have players available to them right now they could start playing in their change-of-direction approach as a rebuild mode. They don't need to rush to the buy-out market. One is Mason Jones and another is Sekou Doumbouya.

Both are pretty good shooters, they both play consistent perimeter defense, and they play well with James. Vogel should start rotating these players and sit people like Basemore, Ellington, Ariza, and the rest of the old, useless players that now occupy the majority of the roster.

Lakers have a G League player that would be better than any buyout

The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to improve the team with a buyout signing but this G League player would be a better option.
