This morning on ESPN they said 2 weeks minimum, he's supposed to be re-evaluated after the All-Star game. I have extensive personal experience with sprained ankles. The main thing is whether it's a "high ankle sprain" or not. High ankle sprains take longer to heal...those are the ones that can take 6 weeks or more. I only ever had one high ankle sprain and those fucking suuuuuuck.

The way his ankle rolled looked more like a regular ankle sprin to me. 2 weeks is possible, but he rolled it pretty good (ankle actually touched the court)...My guess is that it'll be closer to 3 weeks, maybe 4...it all depends on how quickly they can get the swelling down. He can get pretty much 24 hour treatment which will also help.

If I'm right about the sprain, once it gets past 2 weeks, it will depend on his pain tolerance as far as how quickly he can get back. I'm saying 3-4 weeks because he doesn't exactly seem like Kobe when it comes to pain tolerance. lol
His ankle touched the ground and he's.......

I don't want to say soft.

But, always nicked up, always missing time.

He won't be back to close to normal before April....imo

Dude, puhlease.

If it was LeBron, I'd say it's plausible.

But, this guy?

Remember what happened when he tried to come back and play early last year?

You might be in 11th place by the time he returns.

Put his ass in bubble wrap and trade him for Beal or Dame in the Summer.

He can't carry a franchise.

So, deal him while you can.

Zack Lowe rumor from his podcast. Apparently, if this year doesn’t work for the Sixers the next move is Harden opting out and signing a cap manageable deal, Tobias Harris getting dumped in OKC and the Sixers having enough room to go out and get another FA on the market. Beal?

Yeah, my guy....

This is very out of context.

This is what he actually said.

Keywords: Debunked and Conspiracy Theory...

“So here’s my second conspiracy theory,” said Zach Lowe on his podcast. “This one, James Harden himself just debunked, if you care about what is said at press conferences. So James Harden, it was reported I think by The Athletic, that James Harden opted in as part of his trade to Philadelphia. Then it was reported hours later that he in fact had not opted in. Then it was reported days later that the reason he had not opted in was that he just missed the deadline to file the paperwork with the NBA league office. The fax got stuck in the machine. Or the signature couldn’t be found or something. “Here’s the conspiracy. This is the one going around the league that James Harden, to be clear, just debunked. He’s going to decline his option, re-sign for less money, so that Philadelphia can dump Tobias Harris into somebody’s cap space and open up if they dump some other people an almost, almost, almost max slot for a third star. That’s the one that’s going around the league. And people who say that are like, ‘If that happens, some eyebrows at the league office might be raised.

"Again, James Harden says it's his intent to pick up the player option. I believe him. Maybe it was just a paperwork snafu. We've all had paperwork snafus. You send something to the wrong address, it gets sent back to you. You type in something wrong on the auto form, you have to fill it out again. It happens. Maybe it's just a conspiracy theory."

Thanks. All I heard was the cliff notes on talk radio. Harden doesn’t strike me as a “take less for the team” guy to begin with.
