Well Austin Reaves certainly didn’t lose them the game.

I watched the 4th. I didn't feel like lebron played herro ball in the 4th. Was just missing shots

Not necessarily hero ball, but he was calling his own number more than he probably should have considering how he was shooting. It definitely wasn't like he was just going down and throwing up wild shots against double teams...most of the shots he missed, he usually makes.

I just think he needed to say "I don't have my shot tonight", force fed AD and live with the results.

James went hero mode because he's heard people say he can't beat the Warriors.

Only explanation for it so he went full hero mode in the 4th.

Same with me saying Vogel told James not to pass to AD.

Except you kind of alluded to that by talking about AD being at the mercy of LeBron and Vogel.

I specifically said that LeBron deserves his share of blame for the loss.

So…

If I misinterpreted your meaning, then my bad.

Your post insinuating that I am blaming AD 100% is an outright lie.

Who do you like as it stands right now?

A lot going to depend on health in June,

But I have to go with 1 of:

Phoenix, GS or Brooklyn

Phoenix would be my default pick until I see Draymond healthy, and see Brooklyn playing near full strength. They might not ever get there.

PHX is definitely going to be a tough out. BKN will obviously depend on health and whether or not Kyrie will be able to play at home. I'm assuming he will by then.

I think so too.

So many variables with them.

Kyrie vaccination, KD health, and then Simmons. Whether or not he can play effectively and whether he accepts his role (which in theory is perfect for him).

I think they are playing full time by the playoffs? But lots can go wrong there.

In other news, Lebron did pass Kareem for total points scored in the regular season and playoffs combined last night.

I don't consider last night to be "full hero mode". He was missing shots that he normally makes. He definitely should have realized he was off and distributed more...but when you are a great player like Lebron, you know that sometimes just seeing one go in can get you rolling.

To me, hero ball would be if he was trying to force a bunch of shots that he doesn't normally take. Or just coming down and firing up shots without ever looking to his teammates.

I am pretty sure there is a picture of Russ next to the definition of hero ball.

Maybe.....it was just odd he attempted twice as many shots as AD and RW. Had 1 more than those 2 combined.

On the season, he averages 21 shots.

AD 17.4 and RW 16.

That’s all great and everything. But now let’s see if he can get the lakers to the playoffs

I almost used Russ in the playoffs with OKC (expecially the last season with KD) as an example. lol
