Big facts
Jokic also leads Embiid in cheap shots that caused months long injuries to players.
Yea i agree.I honestly didn’t think Jokic got enough of a punishment for what he did
Stats are for people who can’t assess the game. There’s no comparison to these guys on the defensive end. They both dominate offensively in different ways.

Yes he does. And Jokic was outta line and should have been suspended more than one game. But let's not pretend Morris didn't start that stuff in the first place. Had Morris not elbowed Jokic in the ribs while attempting a pass that would have never happened. He was the instigator, not Jokic.
Morris' antics were uncalled for but that sort of stuff occurs on the court all the time. I'm not even sure if he was trying to be dirty and was more just clumsy.
What Jokic did was straight up dirty.
Morris literally thought nothing of the play as he turned around immediately and started walking away casually. If he thought he was doing something cheap, he wouldn't have acted that way.
If some mid tier player did that he would have received a much much longer suspension. And I really don't think the league wants Jokic to win MVP and have Morris griping about it.
Yeah Morris delivered a **cheap shot** first and thought nothing about it. Again had he not started something Jokic would have retaliated. And like I already said Jokic was outta line. But stop pretending Morris was somehow innocent.
I'm not pretending he was innocent. I never said anything close to that.
What Morris did happens in games ALL THE TIME. What Jokic did was an extreme escalation that caused Morris to miss months of basketball. It is the definition of intent to injury.

No lies were told
You done moving the goal posts? I entered this conversation comparing Jokic & Embiid's numbers. You on the other hand wanna change the topic.
And no what Morris did, delivering an elbow to an opponents ribs while attempting to pass the ball, doesn't happen all the time.
I said before you commented that I think that Jokic should be disqualified from consideration this year because of what he did to Morris. Then I said something along those lines to you. To which you decided to
Sure. OK.

Well since you seemingly don't understand I'll say it again. I was talking about comparing Jokic & Embiid numbers this season. You on the other hand refuse to stick to the topic I was talking about. Keep moving those goal posts!
What does your rant about Jokic & Morris have to do with a Jokic/Embiid comparison? If you refuse to discuss the Jokic/Embiid comparison, which obviously don't want to do, there's no reason to continue this.
You think players elbowing opponents in the ribs while attempting to make a pass happens all the time. Which is completely incorrect.
What the hell are you talking about? I'm not moving the goal posts. I'm saying that Jokic should be disqualified from winning MVP because of what he did. What is confusing you here?
I couldn't possibly care less about some irrelevant stat comparison between the 2 players.
I think basketball is contact sport and that sometimes players hit other players with elbows, intentionally and not intentionally. That does NOT justify what Jokic did. Not in any way shape or form. Jokic engaged in an action with an intent to injure. There is no place for that.
I don't get why people want to focus on Morris who is a league average player and not Jokic who is the reigning MVP champ.
Players get ejected from basketball games all the time.
