I would think Cavs matchup against Nets better than most. Mobley is a guy who can at least make KD work for his production. KD has made a living in the playoffs shooting midrange and deep over smaller covers that can’t contest his shot. Mobley is one of the few guys in the league that can have an impact in a series on KD even if it’s being a pest and knocking his production down in 2 of 7 games. And you have Okoro to play Harden or Kyrie. The rest of their core is poor. You can survive one of the three having a night. You just can’t deal with 2 going off and 16-18 from the third guy. And the Nets are trash at the 5 spot so you get Jarrett Allen being an off the ball rim protector on drives not worried about leaving his cover. I think Cavs actually match up with that team better than most.

The Cavs struggle against teams that have a lot of 1-on-1 players. They struggled against LA even with their bad defense, it was early, but even OKC gives them problems bc they play a lot of 1-on-1 bball

I’m not saying it will happen but the Nets don’t have good depth and if Harden is off and on the court, KD hurt and Kyrie out for home games…it’s a possibility they slide into the play-in. I dont expect it but Charlotte is playing well. Toronto is a dangerous team. BKN could slide to 7

little worried about tonight's game @Detroit for a few reasons.

First, the Cavs have not played since Wednesday- that can either be an advantage (rest) or disadvantage (rust).

Second, a lot of good press on the Cavs the last few days after that MIL win. Hope they just keep their heads down and keep playing hard with a chip on their shoulder instead of buying into everything.

Third, Cunningham has been playing great lately- and still, practically everyone is saying Mobley is the knockout, drop dead, guaranteed ROY. Cunningham is going to come out with a vengeance I think.

while I certainly, rightfully, think they will win, I think there is a little possibility for a trap game.

Not saying there were great alternative options- but playing a 37 year old almost 37 minutes a night is usually not a very good idea.

Now he is going to miss at least 4 games, probably more.

The Lakers, currently the 9 seed and 16 games out of first place, and 2 games under .500, with 8 games before the All Star break, including 3 against GSW, UTAH and MIL, could very well go into the All Star break, 4+ games under .500.
