Well if MJ's the only NBAer LeBron's compared to that says a lot about his career. MJ's the GOAT. But LeBron's great in his own right. And how good was he in his prime? I'd say going to eight straight Finals says something.

You can nit-pick about his Finals record. But two of those Cavs teams he got to the Finals, '18 & '07, probably wouldn't have been playoff teams without him.
probably? I'm not sure they win 30 without him.

Why would they want Wall? It might be the only contract worse than Westbrook's.
right? Of all the guys mentioned, Gordon might be the only one the Cavs would want.

Never say never, I guess, but adding a highly overpaid PG when you have a very young, emerging potential all star PG?

Plus, if you are going to do that...you take Westbrook.

But to make it even worse...with Wall or Westbrook, you're getting an overpaid PG who will expect to start over your potential all star PG. Makes no sense.

It is quite clear that the Lakers are done with Westbrook's antics and his bullshit defense. I doubt they will fire Vogel at this point but if they can move Westbrook, I am fairly sure they will take another old guy like Love as long as Sexton is included and Cleveland takes Westbrook and maybe THT.

That is some excellent sarcasm sir. Didn't realize he's only 2,000+ points away from breaking KAJ's all time scoring record.
Meh..he's got that in the bag if he plans on playing at least another 2 years.
Those 1000 assists will be much tougher though.

The only reason that I could come up with would be if they wanted to get out from under Love's contract. The Cavs look like they may be arriving a year or 2 early, so maybe they wanted to move Love to clear cap space for after next season. Thought maybe they put up with Westbrook or Wall for a season then they'd have a lot of cap space to try to bring in a top FA...but Love only has next year left on his deal too.

So no reason to even do that unless Love is suddenly making noise that he wants to move on.
