He didn’t have any energy. 9 cities in 13 days, I believe. He was worn out by the 2nd quarter. Next game not till Saturday so that will give them some rest

Not sure I'd use that as an excuse. I mean, he played well on the last night of a 6 game in 9 day WC trip. Just a bad night.

76ers need to ante up more than Simmons for sure. How much will it take?

That's a damn good question. Not sure what the answer is to that question. But the 76ers have to get rid of Simmons before another one of Embiid's seasons are basically ruined. He's a great player. But he needs more help.

He may have had replacement level stats, but he clearly isn't a replacement level player. Key difference.

His trade value would've helped net either Russ or Hield, so not too low.

Both the Kings and Wizards were trying to get rid of those players because they are bad contracts

Westbrook was not a positive trade asset when the Lakers acquired him. All they had to do was match salary with nuetral contracts and the Wizards would have moved Westy.

The #Lakers and #Cavs and have had preliminary trade discussions involving Russell Westbrook. LA has interest Kevin Love, Cedi Osman and Collin Sexton. A third team is likely to be added to the mix.

Only thing is, that's gonna be a real tough plateau to climb...almost down right Herculean.

Well if MJ's the only NBAer LeBron's compared to that says a lot about his career. MJ's the GOAT. But LeBron's great in his own right. And how good was he in his prime? I'd say going to eight straight Finals says something.

You can nit-pick about his Finals record. But two of those Cavs teams he got to the Finals, '18 & '07, probably wouldn't have been playoff teams without him.

We expect these athletes to be ready every single game but sometimes they just don't feel right. So yeah hustle was part of it but sometimes you have your breaking point. One day is the difference. Not really an excuse bc we all know he played bad. plain and simple.

No doubt and I don't dismiss you could be right and was just fatigue. He was definitely not getting some defensive rebounds he usually gets.
