Just 2.5 games separate the 1-6 seeds, gonna be tough for BKN on home games. We haven’t seen just Kyrie and Harden play together much so we will see, lucky for them they have 2 guys that can take over a game. They should be alright but their defense is going to take a hit

Not sure why the Nets won’t just pay the fine. The max fine would be 10k per game. That’s chump change for them.

Of course MJ was a lot better.

But Kobe literally studied MJ’s moves and implemented them in his own game.

Pretty obvious comparison.

Not saying Kobe is anywhere near as good.

Would be incredibly stupid to not pay that fine.

Unless for some reason they want the savings of not having to pay Kyrie his home salary?

Yeah like I said before LaVine has a little Kobe in him but he is very unique player. Not comparable.

A lot of today's players were influenced by Kobe. But, as tlance pointed out, the game has changed. So instead of seeing guys completely pattern their games after Kobe as Kobe and some others tried to pattern theirs after MJ...

What I see are a lot of guys who buy into Kobe's philosophy (for lack of a better term) about the game ("Mamba Mentality" outwork everyone), while incorporating a couple of Kobe's moves as part of their overall game.

You understand what the word "patterned" means, right?

Many players "patterned" their game after MJ. Kobe was just the one who came the closest (as MJ himself said). No one has said that he or anyone else was as good.

Glad Kyle Guy is getting a contract, but I expected it to be somewhere else.

I think there are some rosters where he could be part of the regular rotation. Miami isn’t it.

Sounds like Durant is going to be out for a while. Gonna be interesting to see how they handle that.

This was definitely one they could have been excused if they packed it in...B2B, last game on road trip. Hell of a comeback.

Yes, the 5 wins were not against good teams but to take all 5 of those games (minus GS) on a WC trip is impressive.
