You're still talking about Bam? LOL my god

Better defense is your opinion. In my opinion Bam is the better all around defender while Gobert is the much better rim protector but get Gobert switched on a guard? It is over for him.

Go small ball with a stretch 5? It is over for him

Bam hold his own just fine in those is situations.

Yes Gobert is more efficient because his offense is literally dunking the basketball. Bam actually try to expand his offensive game.

As good as Gobert is on defense, his inability to improve on offense is why Utah will likely remain a playoffs failure and lose Mitchell in a few season
my opinion and a lot of other people hence the MULTIPLE Defensive Player of the Year Awards. lol.....i mean.....cmon dude.

and id rather have the guy getting 15.5 a game on 70% shooting than the guy getting 18.5 a game on 51% shooting -esp. when neither take any threes

Bam takes less effective shots. Whoop D. Doo. Not something to celebrate.

100+ to Sac through 3?…yikes
Lakers hit 16 3's and had single digit turnovers. And still got drilled by the Kings. NOt a good look.

16 3's and single digit turnovers is usually a pretty good recipe for a win.
Unless you play zero defense.

Doesn't change anything i said. You are simply a hater if you can’t agree to what i said. Rudy Gobert is a trash defender when he isn't in the paint while Bam remains a good defender. You know what's the biggest reason the Clippers beat them last year? They went small ball because they knew it would make him useless. Great rim protector though. Let's not forget freaking Ben Simmons dropped 42/12/9 on him lol. Dray and Bam are so much better on defense than him because they can do more. He can do 1 or 2 good things really well and suck at everything else on defense. Those guys can do multiple things well and can't protect the paint. In this small ball NBA, these are the defenders needed

I also love the way shooting % is your big thing now. Guess Rudy is the best center in basketball hands down because he barely attempts any shots and when he does, it is pretty much only dunks leading to his 70% shooting. Guy doesn't even have a go to post move.

This hate Bam train trying to act like he isn't a good player is lame dude. You can't even acknowledge that is a way better defender than Gobert on the perimeter confirms what i knew since the other night. You are a hater. You are a much better poster when you aren't hating on a player/team and just talk basketball. This is exactly why people don't like you on here. Also don't think it is a coincidence that you are posting more frequently since the Cavs are decent this year. If they had 12 wins right now then you would barely be on here.....front running ass

Miami 26-15 with 25 of their final 41 at home. Unless they suffer some crazy injuries, i would be slightly disappointed if they are not at 54+ wins at the end of season. That should be good enough for a top 3 seed....possibly top 2

of course Bam is a better perimeter defender- he is a lot smaller and athletic.

that does not change the facts one iota that Gobert is a superior defensive player- hence the MULTIPLE Defensive Player of the Year Awards.

if you think that just being versatile makes you a better overall defender you are insane. Tristan Thompson was a versatile defender big man- but that didnt qualify him as a Defensive Player of the Year candidate.

Its a very good and useful tool to have in your tool belt, but you arent judged on how versatile you are alone- you are judged on how much you effect opposing offenses, and even though Gobert doesnt leave the paint- he effects opposing offenses much more.

Gobert:

15.5 pts, 15.1 rbs., 1.1 apg, 2.3 blcks, 70.6% shooting, 7.7 attempts per game.

Bam:

18.6 pts, 10.2 rbs, 3.2 apg, 0.3 blcks, 51.9% shooting, 13.5 shots a game.

neither take any 3 point shots.

Gobert- 3 time DPOY. 4 Time All NBA, 5 time All NBA Defense, 2 Time All star.

Bam- 0 DPOY. 0 All Star Games, 0 All Defensive Teams, 0 All NBA Selections.

However, Bam of course is 24. Gobert 29.

5 extra rebounds, 2 extra blocks per game, is well worth 3 points, WHILE taking almost 6 less shots a game. Its really not close. But Gobert plays in Utah- not Miami- so people do not pay as much attention.

I mean- looking at Gobert's resume- it sure seems that he is on a hall of fame track as long as he doesnt fall flat on his face. How many guys that are 3 time DPOY winners and 4 time All NBA BEFORE the age of 30 not get in the hall of fame? Seems he is on track to do similar things this year.

The bi polar Knicks kicked the mavs doncics azz last nite…

What does this mean?

Absolutely nothin.

Randle, a complete tool.. has ball left with 17 seconds left in 3q. Mavs have foul to give. They foul Randle with 3.6 seconds left on clock. Should have waited , but it mattered none. Randle gets ball back in his hands with the 3.6 still on clock, dribbles ball , clock expires without a shot taken .

Just imagine how much better the Knicks would be if you were their coach.

yes.

done. 83 minutes played so far in January. 8 points.

not saying thats his job- to score- but ya cant be worthless.
He's not completely washed.

But, he's not a guy that can change your fortunes.

If he was, they wouldn't need Stanley Johnson.

Avery Bradley has more left in the tank and he only shows up once every 5 games.

LMAO. I love Ja and his game, but dude is definitely feeling himself these days. He's been extra spicy after this win against the Warriors.

No.

He's been this guy since day 1.

The rest of the world is just taking notice.

He been talking that shit since Rookie Year.
