Odd NBA fact. And more proof Jokic is the most under appreciated super star in the league right now.

He's the first reigning MVP not playing on Christmas Day since '08.

I've seen 14 year old girls with better judgment that you.

He made Cleveland relevant for a short while and you're acting like he took your cherry and dumped you the next day.

That's not what real fans do.
I mean, I've never cared for the guy (even when here) but can appreciate his greatness and that he helped us win a title I never thought I'd see. I'd still consider myself a "real fan". Only difference is Wiggy seemed to like the guy when he was here.

I do think he might be wrong about if/when he leaves LA.....Laker fans might still appreciate him for the title. But, sure, I could see not caring for him as a GM.

And I am going to bet that Laker fans will be grateful for the title he brought them when he leaves instead of being bitter at the state of the roster.

Ingram, Ball, and Randle were never going to win a title for the Lakers.

Once LeBron is gone, they will start over and eventually get back to the top’again.
took them 7 years just to get back to the playoffs.....and that was WITH lebron. While I can agree with some of what you are saying about the LA fans it's kind of funny you think LA had some magical turnaround but try not to credit the Cavs ever if you can help it.

Lakers got Lebron back but took 7 years to reach playoffs and win title. Cavs got Lebron back, made playoffs in year 5 and won title in year 6. Second time they rebuilt and no Lebron. Are now in year 4 and look like they could make playoffs if relatively healthy.....without Lebron.

could argue Ingram and Ball might have won with Lebron (not sure if they could have kept Randle and gotten Lebron but seems like they could). That said, they did win a title with AD so hard to criticize that.

Even in Cleveland in his first stint he had a team that played good defense. This is the worst defensive team he played on without a doubt, offense isn’t the problem. Coming in close is late in his second stint.
say what ya will about Brown but you are correct....those teams played D. Won 66 and 61 with Mo Williams as his #2, as well.

Will say the diff was he wanted to win and cared about the reg. season back then.

If AD wasn't a faberge egg now the trade was still the right one. Now as for the RW trade......... not so much

I don’t know what part of my post you took as a knock against Cleveland.

But sorry, it is simple fact that it is much easier to rebuild in LA than Cleveland because of free agency.

Bad management can surely screw up in LA and good management can expedite the process in Cleveland.

Just because the last time didn’t go so quickly for LA, there are plenty of other data points where it has gone a lot better.

And I don’t think anyone here would bet on Cleveland to win their next title before LA.

And no, I don’t think the Lakers were winning without the AD trade.

Do his accomplishments ever stop? Just unreal what he's done during his career.

LeBron James becomes the only player in NBA history to rank top 100 in these six major statistics

-points, assists, rebounds, steals, blocks and three pointers

-he's # 3 in points, # 8 in assists, # 42 in rebounds, # 11 in steals, # 100 in blocks, # 11 in 3's made
Going to replace MJ as the popular choice as the GOAT.

Even though I think Magic is the GOAT.

Magic will always be my all time favorite PG. Loved watching him play back in the day.

As far as LeBron. If he keeps on keepin' on he's gonna be the league's all time scorer & top five in assists. Anyone that doesn't have him ranked in the top 2 or 3 all time is simply either a hater or doesn't understand the significance of his unmatched career.

Like I've said before seen better scorers, rebounders, defenders, better players at dishing out assists. But I've never seen a single player put it all together like he has.

And no player that I can think of has lived up to, and surpassed, the insane expectations put on him when he entered the league.

Nope.

He's built like a PF with a PG and SG type skillsets.

I figured out how the haters out there can continue to bash LeBron. Just focus on his career turnovers and ignore all the other numbers.

Lebron can be criticized for a lot of things, but his play on the court is not among them.

He's said some stupid things during his career. But the haters out there will always have something to complain about with him. And the majority of their issues are usually petty.
