I’m sure he will try a little of everything. Maybe coach and future owner
the people that think he might own the Cavs one day crack me up.

you think Gilbert is selling to LeBron? LOL

that- and LeBron prob does not have enough money to own an NBA team in today's environment. As rich as he is, he has peanuts compared to Dan G. and most other owners inthe NBA.

But I also see him going where Bronny goes if Bronny is good enough. Bronny as it stands projects to be a solid cbb player but not an elite prospect.

having said that- the Cavs are 3 losses in the loss column out of 12th in the East. A bad 2 weeks and it totally turns everything around. East is very crowded in the middle.

He can become part of an ownership group...and not be the sole entity.

right.

LeBron's net worth is estimated at 850 million

the Cavs as a franchise are at 1.5 billion....and there is always a premium on buying a sports franchise.

with a net worth of 850- it would be hard to be liquid enough to put up anything more than 100-200 million i would think. Certainly- MAX LeBron could put up is 400M and I think that would be pushing it in a huge huge way.

if the Cavs sold they would prob go for between 1.7 and 1.9 i would guess.

gonna be tough tomorrow. 2nd of a back to back on the road- against an Atlanta team that is rested.

would be a nice game to win since i figure Atlanta is going to be a team they compete with for a playoff spot. Wont be easy but we shall see.

Jazz lose another one at home
yah good win for Washington.

crazy though again--- Beal played amazing--- Dinwiddie 0/7 for 0 points. Those 2 cant get on the same page. IF they do Washington can get their act together again though so they do have some upside.

Jazz arent the same with that 2nd scorer behind Mitchell- with Conley out. If/when Conley is out- they really hurt for naother playmaker.

He's made many friends and potential future business partners over the years during his stays in Ctown, Miami & now in LA.
Some are in the Tech industry, Film & Music biz, TV, Clothing/fashion, Advertising.....not to mention all those throughout the sports world itself.
He'd/They'd have no problem as an ownership group of coming up with the principal and /or the capital for such an investment and purchase.

i mean LeBron can be the figurehead to own an NBA team but he is not going to be the majority owner.

who has been worse is Bertans. He has been BRUTAL. 5 year 80 million dollar contract he signed before last year. 3 more years after this one

right now he is playing 16 minutes a game shooting 30% from 3. yikes.

Fuck it. Thank him for the championship and trade him this offseason
I gotta say, it's unfortunate how often he's been living up to his nickname...and I'm not even a Lakers fan, but I'm beginning to feel somewhat bad for the guy.

The NBA is at it's best when all the teams are at max strength...and as they say injuries are a part of the game...but with him it seems like it's mostly been due to bad luck for it to be so frequent.

i tend to agree.

i mean the guy is turning 37 in less than a week

next year DEcember with the Lakers he would be 38

the following year when he is an FA he would be 39 that December. Even with the condition he keeps himself in, it would be hard for me to believe he will still be a top notch elite player worthy of the baggage.

He will be good enough to play and be productive at 45 barring major injury. He is that much of a physical freak.

But what role is willing to take?

If he is willing to be a teacher and play a bit more of a backseat, 30 minutes of 38-40 year old LeBron will still probably be better than any other FA Cleveland is likely to get.

I think there is more upside than downside risk for Cleveland.
