Wilt has two rings. One with the 76ers in '67 and whatever year he won one with the Lakers.
My bad.

Good looking out, Wamupedia.

I stay away from Wilt and Russell.

Never saw them play and I tend to devalue heir accomplishments because of it.

I got Bill as he GREATEST WINNER of all times.

But, it's hard for me to put him ahead of players like The Dream.

Would Bill be a David Robinson, Ben Wallace or Nerlens Noel if he played today?

* please don't kill me for the Nerlens suggestion *

...and it's impossible for me to understand how Wilt could have possibly been more dominant than non-lazy Shaq.

According to most, he was.

For me....

It's only because things are so equal for the guys 7-15.

Championships are usually the deciding factor. But, most of those guys have multiple, outside of Wilt.

Stats, Rings, then what?

All star selections, All NBA, All defense teams?

Shit is subjective.

Anyone who wants to put Steph in rare air with the Mt. Rushmore Legends can make a legitimate argument that he belongs in that company.

Same can be said about the other 10 guys on your list and KEVIN DURANT.
Yep. There's no scientific way to "prove" what order they are in. It's all debatable, which is the point.

Being a Heat fan how frustrating is it for you that LeBron, not Wade, is the team's greatest player of all time? Sure D. Wade's much move liked in South Beach, and rightfully so. But he wasn't better than # 6.
Eh....

Greatest player isn't always best player.

Magic is the GREATEST LAKER.

He wasn't better than KAJ as a player.

Durant was, and still is, better than Steph.

No question who goes down in history as the greatest player in franchise history.

Shit, Heat fans probably have Has!em ahead of Lebron .

Bill would be closer to Noel than Duncan

Wilt is Wilt and what he did can't be argued. He's a top 10 lock.

As far as Russell, like you said he's the greatest winner of all time. But he's also the single most important player on the greatest dynasty that will never be duplicated. And one of the greatest defenders of all time. His importance to the history of the game is why he deserves to be ranked higher than what his career numbers say. It's also said he averaged somewhere around 7 blocks per game.

As far as what he'd be today. Well certainly not any type of offensive force. But you can't teach shot blocking. I think he's be a double/double guy. Low points but solid rebounding numbers. He'd be one of the best low post defenders in the game due to his shot blocking ability.

My bad for the rant. And with all that being said not sure I can put him in my all time top 10. Now if this was a top 10 about the most important players in the history of the game then sure he's top 10.

There ya go being all rational and shit again. Thanks for ruining things. In all seriousness though yeah greatest and best aren't the same. D. Wade will always be the franchise player, and rightfully so. He was fun to watch.

I think its safe to say if he won another championship he would likely be the MVP. We all know he deserved that 2015 one, but if that finals mvp thing prevents him from that scenario then so be it.

I remember when the Warriors chose Nelly over Webber. That set us back decades.

And then the Bullets chose HOward over Webber and Wallace!

I would say that also set the Bullets back decades, but who am I kidding!

You aren't ranting.

You are giving me information.

I openly admit my ignorance when it comes to the players of that generation.

I have no problem deferring to my betters.

You've done the homework, I have not.
