Even though I don’t think he truly reached his peak when I try to picture those guys playing against each other I don’t see any of them being better than Iverson was.

Thomas is also the only NBAer that beat Bird, Magic & MJ in the playoffs. My own top 5 PG list I have him # 3 all time. Only behind Magic & the Big O.

Yeah, but would those others have been able to do as well or better in that Detroit program?

I think yes for CP, no to AI and maybe for Stockton.

CP the best overall player in the group, IMO

Better at what?

Scoring and producing highlights?

No.

Playing winning team basketball?

I got AI a distant 4th on that list.

I don't think CP3, AI or Stockton would have fair as well as Isiah with those tough Pistons teams.

Think all three could have played in that era though.

There's no doubt CP3's a much better defender than Isiah. But IT had that championship drive with the rings to prove it. And for me that's the determining factor. Gotta give the slight edge to him.

Isiah led his Pistons through three of the greatest players of all time. That's why I gotta pick him. Not saying it's the right choice. There really is no right choice, it's just a matter of opinion on this topic. Basically which player you like more on the floor.

Well he had rings to prove it bc he had a great team around, he was a great leader but CP3 is also a great leader and an overall better player imo. Different era so impossible to say but the question was who is the better player. Can’t wrong with either but I don’t think you can knock CP3 bc of something he could not control, the rest of his team.

I didn't knock CP3. I gave my reasons why I'd pick Isiah over him. I'm not surprised some will disagree. Like I said there's no correct answer. It's all a matter of opinion.

Did you watch Buckeye basketball today? If so what did you think of the all black uni's? First I can remember seeing them. I like 'em.

I'll go with CP3, Stockton, and Gail Goodrich back-in-the-day. The order is up for debate for sure. Maybe add Bob Cousy in there too.

This pile of dogshit/douchebag just can't get out of his and his sons' way fast enough. Lonso has distanced himself and his basketball career is better for it.

WTF? It was just a week ago or so Papa Ball was running his big mouth about his youngest son. Saying the Hornets don't know what they got.

No, they know exactly what they got in LiAngelo. There's a reason why he wasn't drafted.

And now this incredible nonsense. It just doesn't stop with him. Yeah what could LaMelo possibly gain from talking to the GOAT about improving his game?

well Ja obviously 1

not sure id give up on Zion yet

but id give Herro 4th after Ja, Zion and Garland.

Garland is leading a team, better stats, better all around game, etc. leadership.

Id absolutely have Herro as high as 4th though which is pretty amazing.

Now this is odd. Herro & Darius Garland are from the same draft class. Check these numbers out.

Garland: 15.6/2.3/5.4 - .436 FG% and .378 three pt. %

Herro: 15.4/4.7/3.0 - .436 FG% and .378 three pt. %

I disagree with that comparison. Oden's body broke down on him. Zion's just fat and lazy. And that's all on him.
Sure but it’s the same effect. Zion’s body is breaking down bc of past injuries, bad work ethic, laziness and he is a fatty. Both had crazy amounts of talent
