I expect a lot more from Westbrook today and Vogel has given hints he won't play him with Rondo any more or as much.

But I can still see a Lakers loss tonight.

I can't say B. Walton was Mr. Glass his entire career when he lead the Blazer to a shocking Finals upset of Dr. J & Company back in '77. He was a damn good player before the injury bug got him. The '76, '77 (led the league in reb's & blks) & '78 seasons he averaged 17.9 ppg, 13.7 rebs, 4.4 asts, 1.0 stl, 2.4 blks.
Mr. Glass means injury prone, no?

Averaging 40 something games a season over a 10 year career is injury prone.

Nobody is doubting his skill.

OK, who gets the boot for Howard?

The way they did the list they weren't going to remove any of the people on the original 50 so I won't either (even though there's a few that should be). So of the new 25, I think its pretty clear you gotta remove Davis for him. Howard has done more than Davis has in that 25 year span. Davis is pretty damn good and may end up with adding a bunch more accolades since he's still young, but put him in the NBA 100 class if he does well. Rodman and Lillard are suspect over Howard as well.

Bill was good at everything. Like you said his only flaw was health.
So, the problem with people like me is, I'm just looking at numbers on paper.

I have openly admitted that I am awful comparing players from different eras.

I only saw Walton in his last few years, not his heyday.

So, maybe I'm wrong. I hear folks balk about Ben Wallace based on numbers. So, I get the whole stats don't measure a Guys impact....

* See Marcus Smart, Iggy.

I put Walton into the same category as Arvydis Sabonis, Brandon Roy, Yao Ming...

Injuries changed the trajectory of their careers. What they did on the NBA court was good to great. But, way to brief to be considered the BEST of the best.

The other day on PTI they suggested that Russ runs with the second team. Not sure if he'd agree to do that though.

The Suns are going to have to prepare to receive everyone's best shot.

They talked Boo-coo shit all post season.

I think we will see ferocious Russ.

*Sidenote...

It's really weird that the narrative on the Lakers is they are too old, yet all the young guys are the ones that are broken.

Better now and be healthy in the Playoffs.

LeBron was the 10th pick in the 2nd round.

Still sounds about right for a modern day draft.

:behindsofa:

MJ 4 evvvvvvvvvva!
I can’t remember the rules exactly but unless my eyes are deceiving me, Jordan wasn’t drafted??? Lol
