Bingo. Was never comparing bron to jimmy

Yeah, that's how I saw it.

Not sure I agree that the Heat got the best version of Lebron. I think Cavs2.0 was the best version. Same number of trips to the finals, slightly less help, had learned how to win and how to lead...may have gotten more than 1 title if not for injuries (may have gotten none without them) and what may be his career defining play in Game 7 the year the Cavs won.

That would make an interesting thread.

Then what exactly were you saying in this comment when you directly compared the two?

LeBron's best stats year(s) wasn't in Miami. By the #'s his best year with the Heat was '12-'13 when he averaged 26.8/8.0/7.3. These seasons were all better statistically.

2007-08: 30.0/7.9/7.2

2016-17: 26.4/8.6/8.7

2017-18: 27.5/8.6/9.1

2018-19: 27.4/8.5/8.3

Stop being such a homer and I'll stop questioning what you say. Remember a little over a week ago when your Heat shot 37% from the field & 25 from downtown in the first half (Nuggets game)? You blamed the refs. Gotta admit though when you did that it was hilarious. It ranked right up there with you saying Riley's dumbass asterisk comment was taken outta context.

LeBron’s absolute prime was Miami.

But his stats were down a little for a pretty obvious reason. He was playing alongside Wade who was pretty darn close to an equal when they first joined.

He never had anything close to an equal peer in Cleveland.

Oh yeah, and by the 2nd stint in Cleveland he wasn’t an all world defender anymore.

Might be but 11 and 9 in 21 min. coming off Covid?

No doubt need LM and Allen to have much of a shot tonight.
I mean he obviously isn’t the same player covid or not. Decent replacement when guys are out but missed layups, Aldridge grabbing rebounds over his head, etc. I get if he isn’t shots…it happens. He just doesnmt provide anything the Cavs don’t have. I’m over it, rhey just need Mark and some other guys to comeback. Gonna be a struggle until Mobley comes back though.

Allen coming back tonight?

A great defender looks worse surrounded by sub-par/average defenders. Miami had better defenders around him, a better coach/defensive coach. Of course he will take plays off when he is carrying the load on defense…his defense carried over into his 2nd stint. He had some of hus best defensive years in his 1st stint. Agree, overall Miami was his best version overall.

But im a homer i was told lol. Really good post. Not saying it is unanimous but if you take a poll, Miami Lebron likely finish 1st. I think Cleveland Bron 2.0 probably finishes 2nd

Who been the biggest free agency/offseason acquisition disappointment roughly 15 games in?

For me it is between Fournier and Russ

Nope.....Allen and LM both out again.

Curry, of course, will play.

It's an interesting debate and it's easy to make a case for Miami or Cleveland 2.0.

His absolute physical prime was in Miami.

He was still pretty damn close to it in Cleveland 2.0, but was a smarter player and better leader in Cleveland (in part because he had to be).

He should have won DPOY at least once in his stint in CLE. Defensive prime carried into Miami and then CLE again but then dropped off in CLE. I still say overall it’s Miami but definitely not 100% clear cut imo

I could see a vote ending up in a tie or real close.

I'd vote Miami Bron.

But, Cavs 2.0 Bron was savage too.
