Doc v Harden stuff is brewing. Already had Doc call him out for his work with the bench after a loss. And recently when asked about the health of Harden’s hammy Doc said hammy is great no issues with that at all haha.

Also, he’s flirted with Dwight Howard territory. He’s become known in officiating circles as a dick in the way and the frequency with which he complains. I’m sure that like Howard he gets a quick whistle now. I would guess if he had 15 techs this year at least 5 would not have been a tech for most but because of his rep he’s built he gets those extras. It’s a merry go round you can’t get off once you’re on. Guys will look and see 15 techs this year and believe more strongly he deserves them when he gets a quick whistle.

And it’s on the heels of Doc calling Ben a “treasure” this time last year. He always bends over backwards. Recently he was calling out DeAndre Jordan for like his only decent 3 minute stretch as a Sixer but he doesn’t have the same energy for Harden.

Doc got hired before Morey got hired. Ever since, there’s been a closely held from the public power struggle going on there and I think with the Harden acquisition it was check mate Morey and that’s why you’re hearing Doc rumors. Seems like he and his agent have known ever since the trade went through that Doc lost this head to head.
