Melo did well for the 1st quarter, was complete shit afterwards. Way too many selfish ISOs and complete uninterest in defense (even by Melo standards). He looked more like the old Melo that was almost cast out of the league, not the one that remade himself in Portland.

Vogel should never ever play a lineup with Rondo and Westbrook again. Just terrible.

Like I said yesterday, dude isn't a max level player and the Suns are smart not to pay him like he is. Their offer is more than fair.

We all know that if he plays like he did last year and hits RFA he is getting a max offer from someone.

Bigs have been devalued, But Ayton is a modern big and does enough things well that someone is going to want to give him Gobert money.

So are the Suns really going to let him walk over 1 year?

When you have a non-elite player like Ayton approaching RFA, you have to over pay him to keep him. And the Suns aren’t in a position to let him walk.

Still just one game BUT if Bron and AD have to carry the load then both will be worn down and AD will be in street clothes. I still wonder if they had a Hield trade in place. Hield is the shooter they desperately need and they coupd have signed Caruso back, who in all honesty probably is more of a need than RW. Same old RW and even if he isn’t this bad he just doesn’t fit. Stick him on the 2nd team and play Bradley on starting squad or somethijg. Yikes
