Memphis are 20-2 without Ja so yeah using the AD excuse for the lakers going 10-24 since late January is lazy excuse. Lebron is still one of the top players in this league. That record is unacceptable

If they took care of their business, they would be in a spot to do that. They haven’t been playing good ball. They need these last 5 games to right the ship. Heat had a really shitty week recently and then responded with a strong week. Sixers had a shit 4 game stretch (especially 4th Qs) and they need to get things squared away. That’s more important than rest or wins and loses.

Yeah Howard is a slam dunk for entrance and a debate for first ballot. His staying power and his all time ranks on lists has him first ballot for me.

I think it was a combo of being gassed and Westbrook being out there. With Westbrook out there, the Pels were content to just let him do whatever. Lakers took the bait and they stopped playing thru Bron and AD.
