Interesting that Bergen got them Ray. Ray has been pretty horrible this year, but still amusing in a way.

I haven't looked into it but I would guess the Blue Jays are paying most of Ray's remaining contract as well.

Keury Mella purchased by the Diamondbacks
Phil Bickford purchased by the Brewers

Also, Hunter Strickland got dfa'd by the Mets again this season and Eduardo Nunez got moved to the 60 day IL.

Surprised about Bickford. I thought I read something relatively recent (6 months??) that he pretty much destroyed his career with his attitude and social drug use.

The only reason the Giants brought him over in spring was for his glove. I don't know how his glove compares to Duggar's but if they are similar, it didn't make any sense to consider him for the center field spot in spring and leave Duggar at AAA.

It won't be yet. The Cubs just added him. Seems his glove and his speed are keeping his career going at least a little longer. It would be cool to see him finally start hitting a bit more but its doubtful at this point.

I missed his call up but just found out that Mike Kickham is in the starting rotation now for the Red Sox. It seems like forever ago that he was a left handed prospect coming up the farm system. Its both a testament to his perseverance and to the state of the Red Sox team in 2020 that he is in their starting rotation at the end of the year.
