I thought the dues went to filo. Ah, since filo is one of your alts, as I am, just pay yourself a few extra dollars.
I think tzill should sit in some public space and read aloud some threads as if he were conversing with himself.

Bunch of prospect lists...

Top 100 Prospects for 2020 — Prospects Live

15) Luciano
34) Bart
55) Ramos
84) Bishop

Industry wide, the consensus is pretty much Bart-Luciano-Ramos-Bishop in that order, and all 4 are top 100, or near top 100, guys. Reminds me of the Posey-Bum-Villalona-Alderson days.

I do like that places are acknowledging that Luciano could be the best prospect in baseball soon.

MLB Pipeline already has the newly acquired Jordan Humphreys ranked as the 23rd best prospect for the Giants. Interesting, considering he hasn't pitched above high A ball, had TJ and ulnar nerve surgeries and will have missed most or all of the 2018, 2019 and 2020 seasons, for various reasons. He'll turn 25 during the 2021 season (if we get a minor league season next year).
This guy must have some good stuff.

I'd probably put him in the mid 20s in the Top 30 Prospect list for the org.
I dont remember this signing. Where was he ranked overall in this years class?

A couple of nice moves to pick up Humphreys and Basabe. Neither guy looks to be a star in the making, but you never know what fresh eyes from a development staff can do.

Basabe was never a star prospect, but he certainly has interesting tools. Same can be said for Jose Siri too. Collecting lottery tickets isn't a bad thing. Plus with Zaidi basically buying Wilson, I like this trend of prospect collection.

Prob with Basabe is that he is out of options after this year. He will be DFA’d before long.

Like with Jose Siri (and Jorge Lopez and Tom Murphy and many others I'm forgetting), I could see Zaidi trying to sneak him through waivers to retain him at some point. I think we should get very use to these types of transactions. Some work, some don't.

These kinds of moves have to be made in bulk for there to be any kind of perceived success.

I'm not sure what you mean by this, as Zaidi has been doing this type of move fairly consistently in his 2 years.
