RG4? Too risky. Haskins looked good and has the tools. He is smart. We should be OK at QB.View attachment 217705
If shit really hits fan, we get the 1st pick, and Haskins looks like doo doo, I am in now way closing the door on taking this guy.

What we need to do is stock up on picks for next year. That is how you rebuild. Trade Trent for 1st and more. Put Morgan, Kerrigan, Reed, and Moses on the trade block. See what you can get for them. They won’t be around anyway by the final rebuild time in a few years. Pick up a couple more 2nds and 3rds. Now you have become attractive to a potential head coach. The guy truly gets to build his team with talent the 1st year. Imagine going to a Tomlin or a saban and give them total control for the rebuild, starting with a couple of 1st, 2nds, and a handful of 3rds your first draft. Couplethat with the young talent we do have, which we do, and we MIGHT be able to attract a HC that can actually execute a rebuild.
Sorry. I meant norman.who is morgan ? my best guess its moses , or norman
i will be coming out with a plan soon for the team as far as personnel is concerned
I'm right there with you Sportster. I'm drafting a QB every year until I get it right. I've always been lukewarm on Haskins. None of the "football" people in the building wanted him. Dan and Bruce wanted him.

- Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon. Height: 6-6. Weight: 225. Projected 40 Time: 4.72. Projected Round …

The point me and you are missing on Haskins is that no matter how much he sucks, he'll be the QB for the foreseeable future no matter what. Reason being he was Dan's pick
Dan would rather be right than win. Example one, Bruce Allen still being employed. I pray to God Haskins is the real deal, because if he isn't it will probably take four of five years for Dan to admit so and ALLOW the head coach or head coaches to move on from him.
One of the big problems with "getting it right" comes from not being able to develop players here. This organization will draft players who shined at a particular position in school or elsewhere and move them expecting something good. They will trade for a player and rarely, if ever, position him to take advantage of his strengths.
Quickly, name the last QB that this organization drafted and developed into one to build a team around? Please don't say Cousins, that jury is still out but quickly drawing a not so favorable conclusion.
Truth is our team gets guys here and expect that they will perform as before, just because they are here. The shit going on reminds me of the Wizards who would hire a coach who wanted to run a half court offense when the team had thoroughbreds. they would then fire that guy in favor of one who wanted his team to run only to discover that the thoroughbreds have gone and now he has a team better suited for the half court.
Glad to see you're finally around to realizing this. BTW: if players were judged on first games alone then the HOF would look drastically different than it does, so yeah, Kirk and Case are essentially the same type of player. Hard to disprove the facts based on their body of work in the exact same places.Kir … Case, same guy as Cousins.
BTW: Cousin's 329 yards, 2 TDs and a win in his first game.
