Tough but fun picking for the Dolphins. So many needs, so many picks. Nearly went another direction there. Went back and forth won't say who yet until he is drafted.

I remember picking for the Dolphins two years ago and thinking the same thing. Thats definitely a team that has been struggling to find an identity.

Its a fairly liberating draft philosophy.

I'm looking at the board for the Chiefs right now and I'm fairly happy but the best values imo are in two positions that the Chiefs probably aren't looking at. If you're the Dolphins, you can draft away as long as you pick an OT somewhere.

Right- Which I already have but I feel like I could take two if not three of those. Lol

7 WR's in round 1 which seems to be very possible come real draft.

3 of my college fantasy WR's went in round 1 (Lamb, Ruggs, Aiyuk)

Was thinking about that WR draft from a few years back where Corey Coleman was the first WR taken in rd 1.... One of the not so good WR drafts compared to this years WR class.

Last year a CB wasn't taken until DeAndre Baker deep into round 1, which is very rare. I feel like this is now two years in a row the CB draft hasn't been great. A lot of good #2's, but maybe only to true #1 CB's in this draft.

Too early to tell who the Browns like more for OT between those top 4. Hearing rumblings about Wirfs. I'm not sure Wills is in the mix and I think he goes before 10 but I could see them taking Wirfs, Thomas or Becton...sounds like Wirfs fits their scheme best though.

@cdumler7 Neary took McKinney with Miami's last pick. Was a very hard decision. Kept going back and forth. RB's fall a lot in these mocks so I thought I would do the draft a favor and take one off the board about where he will go in real draft.

I had McKinney as BPA but I couldn't justify the pick for the Chiefs. Good value at this point

I appreciate you leaving him for me. Got a little nervous those last few picks of whether he would make it to me or not. Huge addition to that secondary. Feel like the Bengals did decent improving the CB room but the safety group was still lacking and I have McKinney as a top-20 player in this draft so hard to pass on that.

Very thankful the Chiefs did not need a safety. Really though once he got past the Seahawks I thought he might fall right into my lap unless there was a trade.

Giants getting Simmons and Delpit sounds pretty crazy. I'm guessing Delpit more in the box and Simmons more in coverage? If 2018 Delpit comes back then that could work.

This CB draft is tough to look at from a fan's perspective. Covid limiting the amount teams can look at these guys probably impacts this position group more than the others. I had a pool of CBs I was choosing from and 3 of them have limited SPARQ info. (as far as I can tell) 3 cone, Vert, and Broad can easily separate guys when you're talking about top 50 picks.

A lot of these CBs are also coming from really talented defenses but thats pretty normal. In some ways that makes it easier because teams actually throw at these guys but in some ways it makes it tougher because these CBs can lean on other talented players to help them out.

All I know is that the Chiefs like to sell out against the run and I wanted a CB that wasn't going to get beat deep. Not insanely confident in the upside on the one I picked but I think he is a likely target for the Chiefs.

Jaylon Johnson is the guy I really want to see the Broncos take in the 2nd round of the real draft. Think he is a perfect fit for their system.

He was my hope here and it’s scary how much on the same page we are for round 1 and 2 as Bronco fans.

Haha it just makes too much sense. Hopefully the Broncos agree with that assessment. CB is an underrated need on this team even with Bouye coming in a trade and hopefully Callahan being healthy. Need 3 good guys in coverage at least these days.
