Look like JP Crawford rolled his ankle yesterday and had to be helped off the field. Appeared in 17 games this season.
Chances are, he's going on the IL.

Expect more time for Beckham.

Look like the injury is not as bad as they initially feared. But he is officially on the 10 day IL.

• Moore recalled from Tacoma

Look like Moore and Beckham will split time on defense.

Really sucks with Crawford getting hurt. He was playing really well and gave us some much needed defense at SS.

Nice to see that prior to getting hurt, Crawford and Shed Long were showing quite a bit of promise. Long started off pretty slow but is hitting .273/.333/.409 with 3 doubles over his last 6 games and added another double today which gives him a 7 game hitting streak.

Wait, isn't this a rebuilding year or whatever? If so, then why DFA a guy when you aren't playing for anything? Why not use the year to try and fix him? Oh ya, it is the Mariners.

Because they rather fix a 29 year old Wright than a 27 year old.
Both have put up equally bad numbers.
