Weren't you against the Rangers drafting him.
Yes, I was. Now I am very happy they did.Weren't you against the Rangers drafting him.
@Duane is a retired cop. Probably had you bugged. ha haYes, I was. Now I am very happy they did.
At the time the way they described him it made me think of another CF that we drafted before that was a flop. That would be Donald Harris. They described Harris as "toolsy", which meant he didn't have baseball skills, but they thought he was athletic enough to develop some. He never did. I have never liked that description since and for the most part I can't recall a player being described that way on draft day as working out for us. That is the first thing I heard about Bubba. Looks like he may very well be the exception.
You have a very good memory to remember that.
He might not be the only one DT.@Duane is a retired cop. Probably had you bugged. ha ha
He probably knows that I was estatic about our next pick in that draft then, Hans Crouse.@Duane is a retired cop. Probably had you bugged. ha ha
I am going to hold off on my excitement of Eli White for now.Lots of good things being written about Eli White and Bubba so far.
Same here. Can't figure where they plan on using him. OF/IN is pretty much in place.I am going to hold off on my excitement of Eli White for now.
Well, we have a 2B who has yet to prove he can hit consistently and we have s stop gap at 3B right now. We also have a question mark in CF.Same here. Can't figure where they plan on using him. OF/IN is pretty much in place.
I will give him credit for hitting as well as he did in AA with some speed as well. A slash line of .306/.388/.450/.838 is really solid for AA. If one of our CF or MIF prospects goes to AA and does that I would be very satisfied.I am going to hold off on my excitement of Eli White for now.
Woody has said DDJ is his CF. Good bet Odor is the 2B riding out his extension.Well, we have a 2B who has yet to prove he can hit consistently and we have s stop gap at 3B right now. We also have a question mark in CF.
Yes, that is the current plans. Last year the current plan at this time was for Gallo to concentrate on playing 1B all year long.Woody has said DDJ is his CF. Good bet Odor is the 2B riding out his extension.
With him being able to play so many positions any number of players going on the DL could give him a chance to come up and play at times this year.Eli White looks to be slotted as a super UIF. But you never know. Look forward to seeing him play
Profar trade may pay unexpected dividends Ha
